Spent one night here. Really beautiful spot. The villa was lovely. Had breakfast at the Rhum Shack which was yummy.

Spent a portion of my honeymoon here. The entire staff does their beautiful location very proud. Anyone looking for a resort stay would do well here Clean. Comfortable. Friendly folks. Great food. Ease of access to local adventuring. Really can't say enough good things about this spot!

A great place for relaxing and a good base to explore Hopkins. Checking out rental bikes (included with the room) is clutch when riding around Hopkins. Excellent AC in the rooms provides a nice respite from the heat and humidity. Staff and locals were all friendly and helpful. Food was pretty good.

Hopkins Bay Resort is beautiful! This place is tucked inconspicuously along the coast and was a perfect getaway for our mission team. Unfortunately it rained most of the time we were there but the staff did their best to keep us entertained in spite of the poor weather. We had karaoke night and I had the chance to sing with several other guests and just had a good time. I happened to leave a souvenir in my room and the staff located it, checked postage prices for me, and held it until I could have someone come pick it up which was over a week. They were incredibly trustworthy and sacrificed their time and effort on my behalf. I intend to return in the future and look forward to seeing them again!

This resort is amazing! The staff is exceptional, pricing is fair, and they met all of our needs. I'm so happy we brought our family 15+ to this resort. We will return!

Great Location but pricy, Excellent Staff, Relaxing atmosphere. The room had basic amenities for the price charged. Location is fantastic, our room was a few steps from the sea. Resort offers complimentary kayaks and bicycles. Rode the bicycle through the village. The roads within the village and to the resort are not paved and has several potholes. This location is 2.5 hours from international airport. But for me, the Resort gets a 5 star due to its staff. Allen Sanchez (excursion coordinator), restaurant staff and security staff were all very courteous and helpful.

Great place to stay!! Just have to drive thru the village because its all the way at the end. Rooms are amazing, the pool is great, food was great and the beach is right there.

We were very positively surprised with the resort. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. We were upgraded to a sea front apartment. The sea was just a few meters from our private deck and we even saw Manatees from our room.
We used the free bicycles to get to town. It's not too far, but the road is not paved and at night there is very poor lighting. The rooms are a good value for the price, but you should note that tours (including dive trips) in Hopkins are more expensive than in other locations.response / report this review -

Hopkins Bay Resort is great! Villas are spacious and nicely appointed. Our view of the Caribbean Sea was unparalleled. We walked out our door and to the water in a few feet. The staff was very friendly and provided excellent service. The Rhum Shack food was delicious and the restaurant team also provided excellent service. The price was very reasonable. We will return for another visit.

Locale was perfect. Loved being able to wake up, open the doors and walk on the beach. I could be as private or as interactive as I chose. Staff is AMAZING!

With many nice amenities and clean/spacious rooms, you cannot find a better bargain elsewhere in Hopkins or Placencia!
