If you have an afternoon free in the area, head here. Big rock is a beautiful and secluded part of the park to relax, swim, and admire some cool falls. There are also hiking trails around. If you can rent a car, include this stop on your drive, as there are many other things to do close by

If you want to go for a swim, this is the place. You can swim right up to the waterfalls and play underneath them. There’s also a couple of ledge jumps. We spent more time here than we thought we would.

Very beautiful and powerful 150-ft waterfall that's secluded and many pools to swim in. The road is unpaved and very rough so you'll need a 4WD vehicle to get here. Go past Blancaneaux Lodge and follow signs to the falls (about 15 minutes). There's parking for around 10 cars but we've never seen more than 3. The trail is relatively steep and going down is easy but the return hike up can be challenging for some. Usually not crowded especially in the mornings and late afternoons as most folks have to drive 2+ hours to get here. If you're staying at Blancaneaux Lodge you can bike here with the hotels bikes.
It's a wonderful place to visit and spend a few hours. Also many have jumped off the rocks and posted videos so if you're daring go for it.response / report this review -

It's a bit of a hike to get to the falls but it is absolutely worth the effort.
