I had a wonderful time at Yok Ha. Everyone there goes above and beyond to make sure you have a wonderful time. The food is amazing, the island and water is beautiful, and the cabanas are gorgeous. But the biggest highlight here is the staff, they truly will do whatever it takes to accommodate you and help in anyway.

My boyfriend and I went to Yok Ha as a get away after graduation. Let's just say it wasn't what we were expecting. If you want a true resort in which you feel pampered this isn't it. During the day/night the electric could go out between 4-10 times. Not usually for more than a few minutes but still shouldn't happen when you're paying 250 night. We were staying in the suite which was more secluded which was nice but the wifi doesn't reach the hut. Food was okay if you like seafood twice a day. When I told them I couldn't eat anymore seafood I would just be brought the sides. They say they will work with food accommodations when they know ahead of time but I don't eat pork and told them when I booked the resort but every morning was just given breakfast with no meat instead. Alright my last complaint is the water pressure is non existent at times we were unable to take showers.

My wife and I spent our 20th wedding anniversary here. Delta had cancelled one of leg of our flight, which was going to make us miss the last flight from Belize to Dangriga. The Yo Ha Staff made arrangements for us and saw that we were picked up at the airport and taken care of for the night. The entire week was very special and the staff at Yo Ha went out of their way to make it a memorable experience. The food was excellent and the rooms were very nice. It is a place and people that we will never forget! Highly recommended.

HORRIBLE PLACE!! They have an excuse for everything and don't want to fix the problems because management is the main problem. The tiny tiny island or postage stamp of land on water is a horrible excuse for a resort. They lure you in with good prices and photos. Once you get there you can see it was all show. The staff is rude. It is hot and they do not offer water and would rather you get dehydrated than inconvenience them. They offer all inclusive and then give small portions of below average food and complain if you simply ask for more filler foods. They act put out at every request. The good prices soon are replaced with nickel and dining you for everything!! Do yourself a favor. Pay a little more and enjoy your vacation somewhere else. Even the pelican is a better place to relax!!!

I had never been to Belize before and purchased this deal on Groupon. The fact that meals were included, and it was its own piece of land really enticed me. A very relaxing and gorgeous getaway. The staff was wonderful, and the only reason I'm not providing 5 stars is our initial booking was a disaster. We were double booked and the last night of our stay, had to go to another caye, because the reservations were put in the system incorrectly and never confirmed. Make sure to CALL for confirmations and not just email.

My boyfriend and I just spent 8 days at Yok Ha, and it was the experience of a lifetime! It's quiet, beautiful, and the entire staff is accommodating and friendly. They made the traveling aspect as well as the stay completely stress-free and more of a getaway than we ever anticipated. They helped plan our flights and made all arrangements for whatever we chose to do, whether it was snorkeling at the reef or zip lining in bocawina- we just let them know what we wanted to do and they let us know what day we could do it. Marcus is, I'm assuming, the manager there and he was the best! He made us feel so welcome, like we were part of his family, not people staying in one of the cabanas. Wilfred and Abigail, the owners of the resort, we're so kind to us as well and wanted to make sure we were having an amazing time, 100% of the time. We definitely did! I normally am not blown away by hotels or resorts, but I will make it a point to visit Yok Ha again because of how incredible our time spent there was.
