The best place to crash in punakha as you won't find much hotels and lodges here. This place is just besides the river having the best view. Nothing can be better to have a sip of coffee sitting in your balcony to a view like this. Their hospitality is also appreciated. It's clean and have hospitable staff which takes care of everything. The prices are a little higher but it's worth it.

it was my honeymoon trip and i must say this resort added a bit more honey to my tripthe room that was given was big enough, spacious,and had 2 windows that gave the essence of a balconylight was sufficientand the bathroom was super cool and whatever a man or woman may want while taking a bath ,was there I'll highly recommend itthere was a river just in front of the hotel gate,how far i remember it was Fochu,and you can get fresh air and a lonely spot to enjoy your own company

Location: Lakeside view. Refreshing.
Hotel ambience: nice but rooms are not sound proof (we had some noisy neighbour).
Staff: restaurant staff helpful
Connectivity: internet was intermittent due to slow connectivity in Punakha.
Restaurant : breakfast and dinner was Good.
Overall a lovely stay.

Location is good. Shld go for river side rooms which are excellent, very spacious suites. Food can be concern area as continental foods are served for buffet.

Very nice resort, good food, average service, good rooms.
Location is just terrific which is a main attraction of this resort. Flowing river just next to this resort is a very good time pass. No other commercial development is seen in any near by locations. Few groccery stores are there.
No mobile network is available.

We stayed for one night on 17th December'17 based on my last experience, in 2016 when i stayed there it was quite good.. The resort got it's management changed and the staffs appointed there have no minimum standard in terms of handling their customers. I didn't see a single smile on their face, extremely rigid and uncooperative. As a customer what would someone expect, a smiling face in the front desk and cordial approach, that's it. Way forward I am never gonna waste my money staying in this resort.

Great View and location of hotel suppress all other negative things. Pros are great location. We can see river from our room and can go there directly from our room's back door. Food in restaurant is awesome but bit expensive. Service is good. Staff is very polite. Cons are cleanliness of room , cattle, Less power plugs, TV is not working properly, and shower head has problems. Though hot water is coming 24X7 and Fridge is there too.

The place looks great. Have a ground floor room overlooking the river. It's quiet, scenic and relaxing. I can spend listening to the birds and the river all day. The room is comfy and nice. The staff are very helpful and cordial.

The Wifi signal is weak from time to time. I loved the view, so gave it more attention than my gadgets. Found food to be expensive.

No wifi..Stay is not comfortable much. Don't drink water kept in the room as it was just normal water filled from tap and not mineral water. Definitely i won't recommend this place for stay unless you have no other options.

Lovely rooms adjacent to the river on the ground floor. We booked through mmt and got the half board package which was well worth it. Breakfast and dinner was simple but very tasty . Not too much oil in anything and perfect for travel. The staff is very helpful.

The resort is on the banks of the Punakha River. It also provides for access to the river. The food was ok. The standard rooms are very small but quite acceptable.We had opted for Breakfast and dinner while booking. Otherwise the food seems to be very costly. However shops are nearby.

Great place to relax and explore places around. Resort is on riverbank with garden on back side. Rooms are spacious and courteous staff. Best has Indian chef who cooks good Indian cuisine.

I like the place for its scenic beauty. This place offers one of the best views. It has a river flowing nearby and is a must visit place. Rooms are pretty old, corridors and bathrooms stink of cigarette smell, ventilation in bathroom is not proper. Maintenance of lobby and restaurant is superb. Food served in restaurant is also good.
