Hotel below standard, No swimming pool as on date, horrible food, no air conditioning and Punakha is hot in June, SPA is average, WiFi super slow and not accessible in rooms. No lift.

The locks for rooms are quite odd and they will charge you allthough the key is broken unintentionally which is very bad and I faced the same. Overall rooms are specious and hotel is river located but it has only 2 floors in addition to ground floor and far from Punakha city but around it good natural views you can see due to mountains everywhere. Food is ok here. Ample of parking space available here. Wooden floor is there in rooms and lift is not available.

Simple and worn but a comfortable place to stay. You can sleep at night with the windows open to hear the river. WiFi does not work and TashiCell overloads easily here.

The name of this hotel is Pema Karpo. Which means ( white lotus ) in English and it is located in middle of the paddy field at bank of the Punatshang Chhu river, Wangdue. I have been serving to this organisation since 3 years ago. We will serve you with our warm and best hospitality. I have many good experiences regarding this hotel. So I would suggest our visitors to recommend this hotel if u happen to visit Punakha and Wangdue la.

Rooms were neat and clean but miss few basic amenities like lifts, safe in the room. The room was spacious but the television is just about 24 inches one (but that can be ignored given you won't visit here to watch TV).

The hotel is nice, and cozy. We had rooms on the top floor from where the view of the river and mountains is amazing. The food is decent enough and the staff is helpful. Room heaters were available. There is a swimming pool but it was not clean enough.

This hotel is good for stay. Rooms and toilets are clean. Staff is helpful. It's a river side hotel so you will love the view. For food I will suggest go to wangdue town where you can get good Indian food.

Went to few places in Punakha with penis of all sizes dangling over all over the place. Found them on dining table or in balcony. Finally check- in Pema Karpo with lovely staff and perfect for family. This hotel is the only sensible place in Punakha.

Budget hotel with clean rooms and 24/7 hot water. Staff are very helpful. But it's a long way from town and unless you're going rafting in the nearby river there's no reason to stay way out here.

A standard hotel at the bank of the river. Rooms are spacious. But some more maintainance is needed. It's having swimming pool. But dirty. Staffs are very cordial and well behaved. They have good restaurant also.

Nice spacious rooms, beautiful view and decent food. There is a swimming pool too for those interested. Do try and catch the archery match which happens right accross the road! The only problem is it's a little far from the Punakha city.

Medium grade hotel not far from Punakha Dzong. Location is great with mountains behind and the river across the road in from on the Hotel. Swimming pool was an unexpected treat.
