Very good resort in the midst of nature. Courteous staff. Great for family.
True 3 star.
Large spacious rooms. Beautiful landscaping. Scenic view of the valley.
On the way to Divine Madman temple.
The restaurant serves nice buffet and delicious food.
Helpful staff.
Comfy resort close to all the main cultural sites in the Punakha Valley. Walking distance to the Madman/Fertility Monastery.
Amazing haspitality, beautiful location and loved the Spa service! Definitely staying there again!
This is by far the worst resort I have stayed in. Indian food is pathetic and they are unapologetic about it. The staff is rude, they cant provide even the cold water or ice cubes. The management is unresponsive, they wont take your complaints.
The wifi network doesnt work in the rooms and you have to come to lobby everytime you need to access mail.
I booked it thru Neptune Tours n Travels, the travel agents, and after such a horrible experience, I wont ever recommend it to anyone. I wont ever come back here even if they offer me free stay for life time. Imagine, this is the land of Happiness ???
NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL !!
Cant give 5 stars all things hve rooms for improvement
Loved the vibe of this place, very friendly and courteous staff. The rooms have a very beautiful view.
During my stay was great and food too, as of my test. I love kind of spicy being Bhutanese. Apart from Resort they have a coffee shop or cafe at the entrance, just next to highway and believe me it’s the only cafe you will find around that place.
Oct 2017. Wifi limited to only in the lobby. The rooms are large. There is no air conditioning, only a ceiling fan. Food was below average. Be careful of spiders crawling on bed. Good views of the valley.
Pleasant local three star hotel. Running good manner. Employees are local young people. Some rooms slightly smell. Mostly good. Recommend Massage service.
Nice and peaceful resort with the view valley and green fields
A BEAUTIFUL Village RESORT, THIS is alovely resort managed and owned by two sisters . one is PEMA WHO HANDLES DAY to day affair , the rooms are quite spacious and facing the village fields. they have an in house kitchen garden which gives them a regular supply of fresh garden salads and few vegetable. they have alovely in house dining place where they serve tasty dinner and breakfast. the person in charge of dining section serves you always with a smile.I was really surprised to note that this resort is 99% handled by lady staff who are really hardworking and polite.THE bar and the cafe is a nice place to chill.and the most important thing i liked was there A STONE WATER BATH WITH HERBS they charge you rs.1500/- for 4 persons and serve you juices and colddrinks. i would definetly love to comeback to this resort again and again. Thanks to the whole management for being so good. we had a chance to meet the young owner ms PEMA she is a box full of wonderful ideas for the resort in future.
No wifi,no service, food also not good, poor service
This place is excellent. Decent rooms, good service, beautiful view and amazing resort.
Not bad
Very beautiful resort, just close to the village, nice staff and helpful. Food was great and good service. Big room and lovely decor.
The Rooms are clean and Elegant, Very Good Room Service. Decent Breakfast menu and for Lunch & Dinner has good Veg n Non Veg Options. Good Indian & Bhutanese Food options are available. This is Lil far from Phunakha Town but worth staying for a day or two.
Beautiful view from the rooms, located at some distance from Punakha town
This is my favorite hotel in the Punakha Valley. It's not the best location for exploring the valley but the nice rooms and wonderful staff make up for the extra driving each day.
