Amazing place to stay for a couple. I am kinda little disappoint with the amenities they provide inside the room. They should have a Microwave in the rooms so someone can warm up their food. In Bahamas they had a big portions for everything so we had to take our food with us to the room but without microwave we had to threw away the whole 4 days left over food. Plus they do not have any food bank where you can give away your left over. I felt really bad while throwing away that much food.

I had an amazing time at the cove. The cove and the other hotels had such nice people. The food was amazing and the hotel room was beautiful. The only problems were that they messed up our room which we had waited 4 hours for and we told house keeping to clean up glass on our balcony which was dropped from a few floors above they didn’t do it the first time but they did it the second. But overall excellent. Go stay at the cove it’s the best place to stay.response / report this review -

First impression: The resort is beautiful. The lobby is open and airy and the ponds lend it a nice, zen-like vibe. I thought it was adults-only, but I saw kids, so I guess I was mistaken.
There was a line to check in, but thankfully someone kept leading people from the start of the line to the other rooms (VIP lounge, concierge) to assist in the check in, and she brought us to the concierge lounge where we were checked in within 15 minutes of arrival. We were upgraded to a Deluxe Ocean Suite (I am a gold member), but as we arrived around noon and check-in is at 4PM, our room wasn't ready. However, she gave us key cards and told us that we could already use the key cards to get our bracelets for the day (which gives access to the pools, beaches and the water park) and they would later be automatically programmed with our room number, that we should call around 3 PM to check if the room is ready, and that there was a transit lounge we could use to shower and/or change into swimsuits if we wanted (and which also had lockers).
She then escorted us towards the transit lounge (pointing out restaurants, etc. along the way), where the staff at the desk gave us access to 2 changing rooms with their own shower, toilet, sinks and a water extractor (basically a dryer-- you put your swimsuit or other clothing in it and it will extract the water from it). I changed into my swimsuit, got my water shoes from my suitcase and waited in the lounge area for my friend. A bell staff was waiting for our suitcases when I came out, but I guess my friend was taking too long for him because he left without saying anything. When we were ready, we asked the staff at the desk about leaving our luggage, and another bell staff was there within 5-10 minutes to get our luggage. We then had lunch and explored a bit to while away the time.
We were at a different part of the resort around 4 PM, so we called to find out our room number. My friend was the one who talked to them, and she had trouble initially. She was told that our room wasn't ready, but I told her to ask to check again because it was already after check-in time. She was then told it was ready, but they needed my address and other details to confirm identity (the reservation was under my name).
The room was really, really nice. It was spacious, the bathroom was luxurious (I loved the deep bathtub), and the view was spectacular. The separate lounge area was well-appointed, but there was no fridge-- I think you have to request it. Our balcony was small, but big enough for 2 chairs and a small table.
The one thing that detracts from the luxurious feel of the room was that the robes (there was originally only 1 robe in a 2-queen bed suite, but they brought another one upon request) had tears-- mine had a small tear on the lapel and a big tear on one sleeve.
The Cove Beach was nice and not crowded, though the water was a little colder than expected in mid-April. It closes at 7 PM.
The Cove pool is adults only and was not too busy when we were there (before 10 AM). It closes early, though, at 6 PM. I didn't see any showers by the pool, so I guess guests aren't expected to shower before going into the pool, which I find kind of gross. One guy dipped his feet to rinse off sand, and so I decided not to go swim in it-- good thing this happened on my last day there.
The shuttles: There's one supposedly every 15 minutes, and we usually didn't have any issues waiting for one. There are 2 routes-- one goes to just the Cove, the Reef and the Royal (it runs 24 hours), and the other goes to all the Atlantis properties + the Ocean Club, but that doesn't come as often, and the night that we had dinner at Dune, we waited close to an hour for the next shuttle (we should have just taken a cab).
The staff at Atlantis: Some were very friendly and helpful; others did the bare minimum.
Caveat: I used points to book this hotel so I think that biases my review a bit. If I had to pay $600+ per night on top of the $60+ fees per night that I paid, then I think this review would lose at least half a star.response / report this review -

Just came back from my anniversary vacation, we stayed at The Cove to enjoy the adults only pool The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, the food and service was good as well. However, I did have one issue that caused us to leave two days early. The pool was flooded with spring breakers. Maybe they're adults on paper, but in no other way. These kids were throwing food into the pool, shaking up and spraying champagne, and overall a disrespectful bunch of brats. The security guard did walk over and scold these kids, but they couldn't care less. The Atlantis is capitalizing on this market, I get it, but perhaps they should make The Cove 21 and over. There are plenty of other places for kids to stay on this property. When I pay a premium to use an adults only pool, I expect to be with people who can conduct themselves as adults. The Atlantis is beautiful, DO NOT go in March and April.

I had an amazing time at the cove. The cove and the other hotels had such nice people. The food was amazing and the hotel room was beautiful. Beautiful hotel and views! However, the adults only pool where we thought we could go to enjoy music and have fun was an absolute nightmare. They have the worst saving seat system ever.. The game is you get there first thing at 9AM and put towels on however many seats you want and then you’re free to go do whatever you want since the towels reserve your seats. We got there at 10 AM and every seat had towels on them, but no people. So basically half the pool deck was empty while people that actually want to enjoy the pool are standing there with no where to sit. It makes no sense, it should be first come first serve, or at least have one person be required to be there. Not only is the hotel losing out on revenue from people that would order food and drinks pool side but can’t because of seating, but it’s very frustrating as a guest to have no where to lay out because a person has a reserved seat that they don’t even come back for until 12! The staff doesn’t help much either.. Krysia the manager is a nightmare to deal with, no help what so ever. Their whole system makes you feel like your a child back in school again. Definitely not what you want to be doing on your vacation spending $700/night on a room is setting an alarm to wake up for chairs and fighting over pool seating.

My family and i always enjoy going to the Atlantis paradise island, very clean and quiet atmosphere for the entier family, we had brunch at mosiac restaurant love the food and the service was excellent!!!

This is the nicest hotel in Atlantis the adult pool, room service and Mossic buffet were exceptional. My family had a great time on Paradise Beach and we loved the atmosphere at The Cove.

Had some service issues. After 1.2 hours and after we called and room service said it was on the way They lost our breakfast order. A few other small things like this happened. Very beautiful facility however with many things to do.

Beautiful setting, but grossly over priced. Our room was dusty, the AC unit was full of dirt and mold, the shower was full of mold. Not what you'd expect from such high-end accommodations. Some of the staff were wonderful, but others seemed to be doing the bare minimum to get through the day; had many staff at the pools and beach walk by and never acknowledge us. Found several lifeguards in the water parks who were more focused on their cell phones than on the guests; I hope no ones' safety was compromised. I only give this review 3 stars due to the beauty of the grounds.

I had the fortunate privilege to stay at The Cove Atlantis for the first time last March under some really unfortunate family circumstances.
The staff at The Cove are second to NONE!!!
I was treated like a member of their family and I have never encountered such hospitality and diligence to make their guests feel like they are in the comforts of their home.
The rooms are absolutely fantastic with stunning ocean views.
I did not have the opportunity to sample all the restaurants since there are 16 there is so much food one can eat, so that makes one look forward to the next visit!!
The Mosaic which is a buffet restaurant, this is not just any buffet I was floored with the selection and the QUALITY of the food all I have to say is WOW!!!!
This is one persons opinion however dealing with not only the staff at The Cove I also met quite a few locals and I must say Bohemians are very inviting and beautiful people.response / report this review -

Very bad experience with the management of the hotel. Were promised two rooms with double beds close to each other and the rooms ended up being on separate floors. When we spoke to the manager, she promised us that we would be on the same floor the next day and said she would send up a bottle of wine for the trouble. Not only did we not get the bottle of wine, but the room she gave us the next day had a king bed instead of the double that was promised. When we tried to speak with the manager again, the front desk would not let us get in contact again, saying she had "left" for a few days. Also, food is very expensive; expect to pay $300 - $400 every meal you have. The room, view, and the beach was good, but the experience with the management ruined it.

It is a beautiful resort, the grounds and the rooms are exceptional. However, the price is for a luxury resort and the food and the service just don't live up to that. The service, while many were very nice, the fact you pay an automatic 15% gratuity on everything gives no incentive for them to go above and beyond. Service at the pools and the beach was sparce or non-existent. We had to go get drinks ourselves the majority of the time. The food, the high end restaurants were good. Casual food was not. Be prepared for the 7.5% VAT tax and the automatic 15%, so you pay 22.5% on top of already exorbitant prices for average fair.
Additionally, the room next door had guests that came in a 3:30 or 4 AM each day and then cranked the music. We called security 2x on night, 3x the next and they knocked on their door once. Two hours awake in the middle of the night is very disturbing. Management would not change rooms or provide any relief. We won't be going back and will urge others to try elsewhere. Too many great beach resorts in Mexico, Jamaica, and other Caribbean islands.response / report this review -

Love this place, service was beyond top notch. When I say the staff, were clean I mean clean every inch was spotless, food was was beyond good..it was just heaven on earth.
I will never forget great their service was.
The rooms, doesn't matter what floor you're on. Rooms are immaculate.

Room was very spacious and had an awesome view. Rooms were clean and people were friendly and courteous. Any needs/wants and they will do their best to make it happen. Did find a problem with my billing and it was resolved but not till I complained numerous times. I would stay here again when I come back.

This is a long overdue follow up to a review I did on The Cove, Bahamas in 2015: Initially, I wasn't expecting much from the management or resort because my initial attempt to reach someone who could help answer a simple question (e.g., do all rooms at all resorts have a mini frig to store snacks and drinks) was so difficult. I called 4 times and emailed 3 to a "concierge" but got zero responses. However, once we got the resort, my family and I were pleasantly surprised. Staff seemed very friendly and accommodating and our room was beautiful. Well done Atlantis Resort! Unfortunate first start but lovely finish!

Incredibly unique & beautiful grounds with a little bit of something for everyone! Lots of high end shops & plenty of restaurants, gift shops & casino. Awesome 😎 water park with humongous water slides & a giant pool 🏊 and if that's not enough, you can always swim with sharks 🦈 or take a dip in the ocean. Walking distance to other attractions such as Powerboat 🚤 Adventures & the Port of Nassau.

My Expierience at the cove was wonderful and great for anything. The location was great for getting anywhere in Atlantis and not too far to dolphin Expierience. Very nice room with a very nice view of the cove beach. Me and my family felt welcome as can be. Thank you for the wonderful Expierience of Atlantis.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The pool has loud music and tons of fun. The later you're there the rowdier the people are. It's a great place to people watch by this pool.

Rooms were nice and size able . Nice adult pool area and breakfast was very good, large variety. Hotel staff was not accommodating especially the front desk staff and front desk manager. The food in the lunch facilities was sub par. The hotel charges for everything extra and charges large amounts for amenities and activities which should be covered under $1, 000/ night fee.

Absolutely beautiful grounds & resort. Well maintained and lots to do. Friendly customer service & staff. Meals are pricey and with any resort & vacation, check on those hidden fees, resort taxes & fees.
