Travelled to this resort for my birthday and was not disappointed. My only complaint is that there is so much to offer it feels a little overwhelming, but the staff is very personable and courteous. I enjoyed every interaction. My room was absolutely lovely despite the modest balcony. I definitely felt like I vacationed in paradise.

Stayed @ the E end for 3 nights. Friendly, timely and helpful staff. Restaurants were fantastic. Room weas clean and beautiful. I was a little hesitant to book, given past reviews relaying it was a newer hotel and lacked an organized staff..but I found no evidence of this. Be prepared to spend some $$ on food/booze; $17 Fiji bottles in the gift shopor just drink the clean well-water ;)

The resort is beautiful and the staff is lovely for the most part but I had the worst room service experience. 3 out of 3 orders were very disappointing. First breakfast order was sent to the wrong room and by the time it made its way to us it was cold. Our dinner order showed up incorrect and took multiple calls to fix it. By the time it was corrected it was soggy and lukewarm. I had a feeling the next breakfast we ordered was going to be late so I ordered a to-go box because I knew we would not have time to eat before we had to checkout. Not only was the food late but no to-go box. When I called to ask for the to-go box and the forgotten creamer, the room service operator was EXTREMELY rude to me on the phone. Great last impression!

rooms are great, beach is great, service is lackluster and nonexistent. Check in lady was less than friendly and it is super expensive for what you get. It is a mega resort so if you want to be a number then be my guest. I have been a Hyatt loyalist for many years and this does not live up to the standards. Personally, i think is more about the island attitude. I am from the South so I get hospitality. I also know when someone actually does care and wants to offer great service. They might as well offer it up since you will be paying for it. I don't mind the over priced things people mention because you know that going into the deal. Throw in bad service and it really can get under your skin.

I love this place! Watched the Superbowl on the big screens at the beer gardens and had an incredible experience. Their art studios are also worth checking out. Super modern and fresh!

Considerable expense and planning went into the expansive grounds meticulously landscaped to achieve a controlled stress free environment, creating a stress relief effect . You will feel quite different after a few days. At night there is a "fire" fountain pool directly north of the hotel which is quite dramatic. Flames arise from the water surface in an unusual effect which was amazing to watch. The kids really enjoyed it. South of the Hotel at the entrance, there is a large musical fountain with light show at night. One must mention the service in the hotel is superb with a high staff to client ratio. The hotel staff will greet you cheerfully and really tries to please at every encounter. Even hotel security orders you around in a nice way. There is a large choice for the many restaurants and pools at the hotel. The kids used the large Fitness Center and found it very good as well. Many of the shops were not yet occupied as of this writing, as the hotel is still in early phase development. The casino is available for those interested in gambling. Overall experience was very good.

This resort is very luxurious. The on-site restaurants were awesome. Especially the Regatta Buffet. They served all you can eat lobster along with other varieties of seafoods. Very good amount of choices. Also, the food was very flavorful 😁

Beautiful rooms and view. Other than that it is simply overpriced.The hotel itself has more a casino feel to it. Good for people who like to gamble. Too commercialized.high-end stores in the hotel felt more like a mall. As for the Mediterranean restraunt & Regatta no other good food here!
You are better off going to 'Twin brothers', a small local restaurant in town for better food.
Our room cleaning was skipped on one of our four day stay. The staff are not well trained to handle customers. We were billed extra for stay. The girl at the desk had no clue what was going on with the bill & finally the manager had to fix it.
Will not come here again.

The Baha Mar hotel is full of activities for adults and kids, beach inflatables, an exploration center where you can interact with rays, sharks and fish. Typical Bahamas small stores line up offering food and beverages. A beach food truck is conveniently located and accessible with great fast choices. The pools and beaches are awesome. The casino is huge, colorful and people are very attentive.

Nice place, big, brand new, still had a lot of shops still working to be ready to open. 10 pools, nice beach. No coral or snorkeling right off the beach, just sand. The restaurants and bars are way over priced. $9 for a local brewed IPA beer! $20 for a Hamburger? Come on man, you want to see me again dont you? The whole stay made me feel like I was being taken. About 50% of the staff were nice, the other 50% wouldn't have pissed on me if I were on fire. I guess maybe this place just isn't for me a little pretentious for my taste.

Not a fan. We arrived at 3pm and despite the fact that they are clearly not at even 40% occupancy out rooms were not ready. The front desk claimed that our rooms were being "inspected". Still we found dirty windows and underwear and clothing in the drawers. Clearly not a thorough inspection. There are so many staff people but none overly friendly or helpful. No map of the property. The service is extremely slow. Nothing stands out and we are regretting taking a chance on this property and not staying at Atlantis

Hotel and property is beautiful. They need a lot of work in the food and beverage departments. Bartenders need extensive training. You must leave the property for a nice dinner until things change. Everything was extremely over priced. $260/massage, $60 manicure, for 2 people plan on a minimum of $400/day to eat and that does not include wine or cocktails. Pool side cocktails were between $20 and $37 EACH!!!! Tips are included in your daily service charge fees in addition to resort fees for about a total of an additional $50/ day to your bill. The property is owned by Chinese but managed by Hyatt, I guess these are Chinese prices. BEWARE OF CIGUATERA!!! Food poisoning from fish contaminated with this toxin. Prevalent in the Bahamas. Read about it before you go.

Amazing property. Restaurant and Bar staff need to be more attentive though. We were literally the only table with guests in The Swimming Pigs Pub for breakfast, there were probably 7 employees visible, but my coffee was never refilled by the time I finished my meal.

This place is absolutely GRAND. The locals are great and welcoming, the prices are high, but the hotel accommodations are definitely worth the stay. Olis is the best massage therapist I ever had, he is highly recommended in the Espa on site.

Just came back from a short three day trip to the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar and it was definitely the best resort I've ever been to.

- The entire resort is GORGEOUS. Everything from the lobby, pools, and our hotel room was designed down to the smallest detail. Stunning. There was a pool outside with fish and a pool that caught on fire every few minutes. Very cool!
- Beach was also gorgeous. Clearest crystal blue water with white and clean sand. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas. Also fun complimentary water activities (paddle boards, kayaks, floating mats)
- The staff were amazing. Every person you passed greeted you. The second you stepped on the beach, someone was there to get you chairs and umbrella. Our servers were very proper and are eager to provide you with great service. S/O to Wesley who took us to the Fish Fry to experience authentic Bahamian food (Conch salad is a must-try! The fish is caught fresh everyday. Food is way better than the actual restaurants at the resort) and downtown to experience the nightlife.
- There were only a few restaurants open but they're planning on opening a LOT more. All the restaurants had a small food selection but honestly I love it because I'm super indecisive and would rather choose from a small menu. The food at these places was satisfying but nothing special. The restaurants are costly but nothing out of the ordinary. Be prepared to spend money.
- Pool had a mini cliff to jump from and a cave with a cool aquarium with sharks, turtles, and stingrays.
- The weird thing was the beach "closes" at 6pm or so (the time changed twice during the stay). The beach should be open longer at least until sunset.

Once this place officially opens, it is going to be amazing. The staff told us they're planning on opening plenty more restaurants, clubs, stores, a cabana-style pool bar, skybar, golf and tennis, animal sanctuaries, and more!

Please don't waste your money. We checked in yesterday for 4 days. The service is horrible. We were expecting 12 restaurants to be open and only 3 are open. Open is also a relative term. Room with the tiniest balconies. Construction noise all over the resort on the west side starting at 9am.

Went to the swimming pig and they were out of so many food items. When our order can of chicken liver, it tasted like sh*&t. Then the screwed up our dinner order too.

The 3 tide was out of tuna last night. This morning we went for breakfast buffet and there was no gas. NO GAS in a restaurant means no omelettes. Then the light went out for 3 minutes. Breakfast options were very very limited for the extremely high price

Here for 4 days and I truly have despised each minute. Should have booked an all inclusive 4 star than this half constructed 5 star. They shouldn't be open till all restaurants and shops are completely built and open.

This is a amazing resort. My family and I loved our spacious room and the cleanliness of everything. The staff is very friendly from the valet service, front desk, house keeping and restaurant staff. When we first arrived DeAngelo from the front desk walked us to elevators while telling us about the resort even if that's a part of what they do it's a nice touch. Someone brought our luggage up to our room we never had to touch them. The concierge worked really hard to get us what needed as far as outside adventures we wanted to try off the resort. The pool areas are great with restaurants and bars. They give you towels and sunscreen. The food at the pool restaurants was so good that we ordered the chicken wings twice. Everything is decorated so nicely they really gave attention to detail. You have to try 3Tides breakfast experience everything was fresh. If I could give this place one more star I would.
