The Beach Hotel was clearly the oldest of the hotels on the resort. The rooms have not been updated. Although they are older, they were very clean and the staff was very courteous. Our third floor room had a terrible view. It did have a view of the ocean unfortunately the roof of a second floor restaurant was in the forefront of our view making the ocean difficult to see. If you plan to stay, be sure to request a room on a higher floor. We loved the sea life all around the hotel but it is quite a walk to the main attractions like the water park, the buffet and the dolphin attractions. As others have stated there was an issue with the hot water. All showers were lukewarm and the water pressure was lacking enough pressure to wash shampoo and conditioner our hair. When checking out we questioned a few charges that should have been covered under our breakfast credit only to find out they had miscalculated other charges and ended up charging us $75 more than what our printed bill reflected. Discussing the issue with the staff got us nowhere. That was the only frustrating piece of our trip. The resort was great. We went in April 2018 and it was not too crowded. All the pools were peaceful and relaxing. We will definitely go back but we will stay at the Royal Towers, the Cove or the Reef hotel instead.

If you plan to stay anywhere on the resort be sure to check out the feedings of the sea life. It is so fun to watch and some feedings are interactive. Schedules for feedings can be found on the home screen of your tv.

Terrible customer service. Refrigerator did not work. Stained sheets. No hot water on first 2 nights. The room was not cleaned after the 2nd night. The customer service at the Coral was must better. I will not be staying at this hotel in the futureb

Staff is actually great, beds are nice, room is substandard ( dirty, broken locks, slightly working air conditioner). Resort all together is awesome but be sure to bring your wallet. Family of 4 (2 adults and 2 little ones), lunch at a so so place and dinner at the buffet, $260. Would we come again? Sure but we would stay at the royal towers and do the meal plan.

Nice site, beaches and water slides are great, but very expensive for food and more.

Great views and excellent park and facilities. Service though is something that can be improved. Took a couple of tries and a few minutes to get an answer on phone and no hot water in evenings, not sure why. Informed the front desk but it did not improve. Shuttle services between hotels is very convenient. Water park and views are excellent.

I am in the travel industry. Our Church put together money to send our Pastor on a vacation. I booked the Hotel Atlantis Beach Tower. The lobby is beautiful. The room smelled of mildew so bad, they had to moved to another room, which still smelled of mildew but not as bad. So far men just walked in on them in the room without knocking three times.
Used their key and just walk in on them. Said he was putting water in the room. What the What? At most hotels or resorts, the housekeepers knock before they use their passkey. Mind you our Pastor is Female, it scared her half to death! They do not even have a microwave in the rooms for what they charge. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
I do not know how this hotel rates 4 or 4.5 stars. They put a $600 hold on your credit card for incidentals. Over all my years of travelingI never encountered this type problem. My Pastor did not enjoy her vacation, that was meant to allow her to rest and relaxbut turned into a nightmare.

I just walked through the lobby of Beach Tower, Coral Tower, surrounding from sight seeing on a cruise trip . These are amazing hotels with magnificent decorations. My family really enjoy seeing the sea animals, like sea turtules, saw fish shark, sting rays in the hotel ponds. There are two aquariums, one below the Coral Tower allows public access, the other below Royal Tower only hotel guest have access.(which is weird, I visited Royal hotel 10 years ago also from cruise trip, then there was no restrictions at all. But again, 10 years back, Nicolas Cage didn't try to sell his cottage nearby, time changs ). These hotels are very near to a beautiful beach, really lovely sand, and allows public access. In short, you don't have to stay at the hotel to enjoy, but I'm sure if stay overnight, more fun will get.

So the majority of the restaurants were closed for some reason. We had an awesome view from our room but the tv would not work and they could not come fix it until an hour before check out. We wanted to watch the hotel tour video so we knew where we were going in this monstrous facility. We ended up figuring everything out ourselves.

Poor cleaning, hair everywhere, in tub, on dryer cord, bed sheets, table etc. Down stairs bar reaks of something nasty. Overall, it's only good for the water park access and the beautiful outside resort.

Checked into room 8140 today. Ac not working . Tech comes to room after one hour, puts hand in front of fan, says it's working, nothing he can do. Suggests I keep curtains closed all day to keep the heat out . Which defeats the purpose of an ocean view.
Talked to management several time. Says he will move us to another room. I say I want to see it first. He shows me an identical room five stories below me with poor AC, musty smell, and view of a rooftop. Says they have no other rooms, which I know is not true. Save yourself the hassle. Don't say here .
It is outdated, damp, smells like mildew. The water smells like rotten eggs, and the towels, I kid you not, smells like a barn.
The wireless is very slow and practically useless. If not for my kids wanting to stay, I'd be gone
We are elite members of Marriott rewards which they are supposed to honor, but they don't seem to care. The pools close at 7, so by the time we dealt with all these problems there was nothing left to do.
The first day of this vacation was a bust. Still in same stinky, hot room. Can't sleep. It's too warm. They said they would try to find me another room in the am after people check out.
Today's resort fee of fifty dollars was for nothing.
We never even got to swim in a pool.
The front desk is legit a mile from my room. It reminds me of Vegas, where you have to trek a mile through a casino to get to your room. Exhausted from the stress and waking back and forth, but I can't sleep.
I would definitely not recommend beach tower. It is long overdue for a makeover . I've stayed at Residence Inns that are much nicer than this room.

Rooms are slightly run down if your staying in one of the villas. Bottled water is so hard to get a hold of in the rooms and you are only allowed 2 free bottles a day. Theres nowhere on Paradise Island to get packages of water unfortunately have to leave to do that. Of course everything is extremely expensive even just a pair of flimsy shorts. But otherwise, this place is great. The staff and music constantly playing is one of the best things of this place. The staff is very friendly and willing to help and very kind. They make the experience. Everything is also very clean, like the rooms, even if it might seem a bit old and run down. This place is very old so its not something that can be helped. Shuttle service is expensive so leaving the island isn't a great idea unless u don't mind walking or taxi service. I would plan on spending ALOT of money in just the first day. Luckily though the beach tower is away from all the main crazy action so it's more of a relaxed Bahama vibe and not crammed with a billion tourists which is great! Definitly would think of coming back, but a reno should be in the future for the villas.

Not the newest of accomodations but we understand that it is the oldest of the towers and so will give it a bit of leeway. Stuff works and is generally clean, so no real complaints.

I recently stayed at the Atlantis Beach Towers. Exceptional hospitality and location was perfect for our stay. The Marina, beach and pool were just a quick walk outside the hotel.

You can tell immediately that this is the most budget friendly hotel at Atlantis, but if you're thinking about how little time you'll spend in the room, the hotel is just fine.

We enjoyed our stay at the Beach Tower. The room wasn't in the best shape, but it was clean. We were treated with courtesy by the staff. The kids had a lot of fun and so did the adults! We would stay at the beach tower again.

You CANNOT be picked up or dropped off from the entrance. You are forced to walk from the coral tower which is a 5 minute walk each way. The lobby is uncomfortably cold. The pet hotel and kids area is there. The water pressure for the shower in our room was not good. The view was good and the room was nice.
