There is not much in the way of souvenir shopping on exuma but the strawmarket looks awesome when you arrive but all the souvenirs are over priced and most of them are old and have small amounts of damage from being handled so much. And almost none of the items are locally made!
I opted to purchase my souvenirs from the gallery next to the Driftwood cafe that was reasonably priced and the items were of better quality, no damage and there was items that were actually bahamian made!response / report this review -

There are a some cute souvenir items here but some of the ladies selling things are incredibly rude. They acted annoyed that we were there and put off if we asked questions about things. I was​ told one price for a shirt and then walked around looking at the shops before coming back to make my purchase. When I was ready to buy the shirt she raised the price and said she wouldn't honor the price she had given me earlier. There are really no other options for souvenir shops and they know it so they had no problem being rude to us even though we spent over $150 at their market. It was the worst we were treated the entire time we were in the island. It's too bad this was our last stop because it left a terrible taste in our mouths at the end of our trip. Most of the other local people were friendly and happy.

Its centrally located in heart of George Town and the variety of strawwork and accessaries is great.
