I was going to rent this place before we went but found something else. I'm glad we didn't because I thought they were on the water and they're not; they're up across the road and a way from Hoopers Bay altogether. I'm much happier now that I didn't.

First of all the recent review by Polly is very unfortunate and sounds a bit exaggerated..the villas were very clean and accommodating and met ALL our needs for the week! I stayed here with my 2 teenage daughters and we had no complaints with the "yellow" cottage. William and Pricilla were very gracious. William was readily available to offer rides as we needed themhe cut fresh coconuts for us to drink and lent us bikes to explore the nearby areathe beach was a short 2min walk from the cottage no hassle whats so ever.and 90% of the time we had the whole beautiful beach to ourselves.there were kayaks there for our use and a pier that was home to a family of sea turtles.the A/C was not an issuethere was 1 in each room and the front room.one of the bedrooms did not have a functioning AC unit but the 2 fans fan in the room solved that issueand during the night it was NEVER an issuethe house remained cooled from the 2 functioning AC units.the house was NEVER hot or humid.the Wi-Fi was very slow and could probably use some updating but we had to remember why we came to the island.to escape that type of stuff and relax and enjoy the beautiful islandi suggest if anyone is looking for 10 star accommodations they should book with Sandals and pay 10 times as much!

Exuma is such a laid back, lovely destination. Our villa was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. What made our visit the best were the manager'sPriscilla and William! They were the highlight of our vacation. We plan to come back to Exuma. We would definitely return to Hooper's Bay Villas BUT.only if Priscilla and William are there.

BEWARE!!!! BEWARE!!!! BEWARE!!-- THESE PEPOLE FALSE ADVERTIZE!!! SCAM.. NO AIR CONDITION IN THESE UNITS..NOT ON THE BEACH.. NO WIFI.. THEY SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM EVERY RENTING SITE ON THE WEB!!! The AC unit you see is the ONLY one in this two bedroom.
