Clean, up to date rooms. Super friendly staff. Excellent location for exploring Nassau. Decent beach access. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a place in Nassau itself.

This hotel is very well located in Nassau, unfortunately bad service seems to be a recurring issue as people have not been properly trained. Check-in takes too long, their kitchen is also regularly having problems with orders and delays in serving. The hotel is expensive for what it represents.

Great facilities, excellent service, across from junkanoo beach and near the fish fry (for food) and shopping areas. Basic breakfast but satisfactory - served Starbucks and Tazo.

One of the newest restaurants.immediately opposite long wharf beach and Arawak cay which is our Fish Fry and one of our TOP tourist and local destinations. Here is where you can get the conch fritters, fried fish, cracked conch and conch salad and try our world famous award winning Kalik Beer.

This hotel is literally a quick stroll from Downtown where the straw market is located for souvenir shopping. There are also Jewelry stores, there's a MAC makeup store, trendy and chic boutique restaurants, local restaurants like Lukka Kairi with amazing viewsand Señor frogs.the cruise ships port just behind Bay Street.

The court houses , Milo butler monument and our Parliament Square is also located downtown at Rawson Square.

You can hop on a horse and carriage ride to the government house or take the bus down the The Potters Cay dock which is where you will find the best conch salad on the island!

Try the Potters Cay club restaurant!

Checked in on Sunday Aug 20 2017.I was quickly attended by Victenell with a beautiful smile.She checked me in to my room.I had requested high floor away from elevator pool view.I was pleasured to know that I was upgraded to the 5th floor corner unit Ocean/pool view.Front Desk Victenell provided a warm and welcome greeting great start to my first time in Nassau.Then I met DeangeloWhat a wonderful man.He brought my luggage upand while in the elevator he told me where to go shopping and eat.He was so sweet and accommodatingbtw he's also the life guard at the pool.So we walked to Bay street and market street about 15min from hotel.Good souvenirs to buy and other shops.At night we hit Fish Fry recommended by Deangelo.Wowwow!.night life 5min walk from hotel.Lots of places to drink and eat.We ate conch for the first timeit was delicious.Locals are very sweet and nice.Complete strangers would walk by you and say good eveningreally nice Bahamians.Now back to the hotelthey have a bar where you can drink and have a snack.It closes at 11pm.Continental breakfast at the same place.Hotel room is very clean..The bedsheets crisp white and bed very comfortsble.The bathroom was super clean,Towels couldn't be more white.No complaints.In the room you have bottled water and coffee as well.My only feedback would be to secure the safe.It's currently in a drawer and you can actually remove the drawers or the safe itself.My suggestion would be to secure the safe to the closet wall.Overall great hotel stay friendly staff.I highly recommend this hotel.Free Wi-Fi as well and great connection.Enjoy!

It's in a great location off the beach in down town bahamas, with great WiFi connectivity and friendly, helpful staff. It's primarily one of the more budget options in the Bahamas, So there are pricey options that are better, but this might be a good in between.

the staff very pleasant always acknowledged the guests unlike the general manager who I probably saw 3x's a day never made eye contact.The night before we were leaving he did wait on me I was inquiring about the bill he never once asked "how our stay was, did we enjoy the island, coming back" Thank goodness for the staff!!!! and not the management. In spite of the general manager we will be back.

This review is for all of the people that travel frequently and stay in hotels outside of the US. I say that because Standards vary by country and I have had stranger experiences in well-known International Hotel chains in places like Paris than in even in a small town like Parkersburg, West Virginia.
First, I am a loyal Marriott guy and have been for over 25 years.
I think it is the best hotel chain there is and about the best rewards program bar none.
Now about the Courtyard in Nassau.
It exceeded my expectations in many ways.
I have stayed in all types of Marriott hotels. You must have to appreciate how well run this property is.
I was there from December 23 to 29th, 2016
I found the staff much more responsive than other hotels chains. For example the night I checked in at 11PM, the door outside the Fridge compartment did not close properly. I pointed that out to the young man setting up the roll-away for our daughter. He immediately called maintenance. Within minutes they determined that they could not fix the door so without much ado they immediately changed my room without my having to go to the front desk or lose any time. They even moved my stuff to the new room. I was in the new room within minutes with new keys and all.
Mechanical things go wrong everywhere. It is no one's fault.
To me, this is an example of superior service.
I have been in 4 star hotels where they did not fix issues like this without escalation to Management and sometimes for hours if not days.
The Bistro in most Courtyards in the US has average service. Here it is superior. Unlike other hotels I have stayed at, there are no eating places near this hotel. So almost all guests end up at the Bistro for Breakfast.
The staff there has handled crowds larger than I have seen anywhere without missing a beat.
The prices are reasonable for an International location and the food is great!
I did not find any validity to dirty linen and towels mentioned in other reviews. That is all bunk.
And there is no shortage of them either.
This is a good hotel.
Remember, it is a well-run better than average Courtyard and not a JW. If you are willing to pay for a JW suggest you look elsewhere.
The Management in this hotel is not hiding behind the staff either. While I was there the Manager personally greeted me at the Bistro almost each morning and always asked if things were ok. That is way above normal. Just superior all the way.
I highly recommend this hotel to all savvy International travelers.
The people are nice, the location is great and why do you want to use the hotel pool with the Ocean beach a stone's throw away. Go take a dip and enjoy the drinks on the beach and don't miss the barbecue. And yes with the view from the beach why would anyone want to travel all the way to Nassau to look for a view out the window.

Really a bad hotel，I still don't understand why I booked the hotel for my anniversary! The front desk just left me in the lobby for a long time and gave me no words to explain what happened. I booked the hotel room a third party, and I have already paid for that, but they wanted to recharge for my stay. I don't recommend this hotel, and I will never come again.

Awful！！！The service of front desk is super terrible. I've been waiting for 3 hours and then got a terrible view room which was not the same as they promised me. I chose to forgive them at this time. However, they over charged me for the same room I booked through priceline. I really appreciate that this place is neat and clean, but I didn't get what I paid for. The worst part is--today is Christmas! Hope you guys improve later on.
