Good resort overall, pool was closed for a couple days which was not the best. But there are 3 on property so it was not a big deal. Highlight of the trip was many entertaining evenings spent at the upstairs bar with our friend Dicienzo behind the bar. Would highly recommend visiting the upstairs bar with Dicienzo and the grill downstairs with the lovely Yvonne.

Definitely get “the level” for a second to none beach and all inclusive experience. We loved this resort!!

The local people are extremely friendly and helpful, but the facility is in complete shambles. Elevators barely work, with no AC. But they did kinda fix them yesterday.
Outside of the building looks to be run by a slump lord. The food experience has been good though. Pools are nice, as well as the beach.

My experience was not what i had expected. The first night i had arrived i had a fall entering the Aqua restaurant. There were three couples leaving and i was lost trying to find the elevators to return to my room. I was taken to the hospital , paid my bill and submitted the bill to one of the managers, after a couple of days when i inquired about the status of the fall issue, they avoided me and on the day i was leaving, i was told that one of the staff had held the door and told me to watch my step, well that is not true, it was one of the men that was in a party of six that held the door for me. I was not asking for the full bill to be paid but they could have let me know what they were going to do or not do. I am going to take my case to the television stations in my area that they receive on the island with the kind of treatment i received when i fell. I am still in pain and had to have another x-ray.

The resort is right on the beach and very picturesque, but expensive if you don't get the all inclusive. There aren't a ton of restaurants outside the resort, but you can find some if you are willing to walk. There is a nice walking trail outside the resort as well. The rooms are a nice size and most have an ocean view.

I'm very upset with Melia Nassau. I came from my salary paying much vacation, and this hotel did not give me towel service in my room. I had to call 3 times for they do help me with towels. This hotel is far from quality with its price. I recommend taking my opinion before coming. Thank you.

Spent 2 nights here and had an enjoyable time. I would probably give 3.5 stars if this was an option, but decided to round down.

First off - the staff is super friendly. However, service is extremely slow all around, even when the restaurants weren't as busy. More often than not we never were asked whether we wanted more coffee, water, drinks etc. Food took an excruciatingly long time to come to the table. Also, we stayed at the "Level", but getting restaurant reservations was still a challenge and we were "lucky" to get open dinner slots at 9:30 PM both nights.

We upgraded to a "suite" for a fairly nominal fee during check-in. The room was clean and spacious, although the small in-room fridge stock was somewhat sparse. We ordered room service once and thankfully that was included for Level guests. I definitely would not spend $23 for spaghetti bolognese- that seems outrageous and clearly designed to discourage guests that don't have room service included from ordering anything.

The resort was very crowded with college age spring breakers, while we were there.

Not sure we would return to this location, although possibly to another Melia.
