We stayed in the regular rooms and they were ok. The fridge, aircon, and road noise were very noticeable. The cleanliness was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. The pool area on the rooftop is nice and includes a gym and sauna (if you have time to wait for it to heat up). The refreshments in the fridge were ok but did not get refilled. Breakfast was standard brazilian self service - sausage, egg, fruit, juice, and pastries.

Nice large room and fine bathroom. The downside was that the bed was two singles beds put together and there was a door that connected to the adjacent room. Although expectedly blocked, was a little creepy. Breakfast was fone top.

We stayed here for 1 week during the Rio Olympics. Uncourteous staff. Rooms barely ok. Concierge gave us incorrect directions to one of Rio's main tourist attractions. He then made a reservation at a restaurant for dinner that was non-existant when we showed up for dinner. Skip this hotel, or better yet skip Rio altogether.
