Loved the hotel, the room and the service. The hotel is well located and the staff goes the extra mile to make you feel home. Will surely stay here again if I come back to the beautiful Rio

Good hotel if you want to stay across the street of the most famous beach in Rio. But you can find better service for a smaller price a few blocks further. It's a well known hotel for tourists, nevertheless, and offers many facilities and a generally friendly staff.

The Pestana Rio Atlântica is a 5 star hotel with an excellent value for money and a very privileged location on the "Avenida Atlântica"

Nice room, good overall service and wonderful breakfast.

PLUS: From its Deck Bar and the panoramic pool, on the roof top, you will enjoy dazzling view overlooking Copacabana beach, one of the most famous beaches of the world.

Deck bar open for non-guests with an awesome view from Copacabana beach. Drinks are good but a little bit overpriced. If you want a place for a day use that's the place.

I was attending a professional event were some presentations were taking place, the pointer of the presentar was not working properly and some times the data show was with bad quality making the screen yellow. On the other hand the infrastructure was adequate and the location is perfect, nice view and environment.

Good location. Nice breakfast. But workers didn't help as expected. Se found a glass with lipstick and the tube (not jacuzzi) se used was not cleaned. A wonderful bed, but we couldn't sleep at all, because the hotel offers noisy parties on Frydays and Saturdays until at least 2AM and the rooms don't have sound protection.

Great location. Great value for money. If you are going for the carnival, this hotel is one of the most reasonable options. Also - amazing rooftop pool and bar.

PREJUDICE AND LACK OF RESPECT. I called to make reservations for lunch at the hotel restaurant and was informed it wasn't necessary. Upon arrival, me and my sister (Brazilians speaking Portuguese) were blocked at the entrance by security saying the restaurant was closed. 5 seconds later my husband (white, blond, Dutch speaking English) was welcomed to the restaurant. He asked why we weren't allowed to enter and with a lot of disrespect the lobby woman said they "filter" people at the entrance. This is at least unethical. To me, plain racism.

Alittle pricey since briexit at £130 a night but a great location and friendly staff. They let us check out later and good breakfast included. Perfect views from the roof pool, not huge so might get packed when sunny. The beach is right outside with lots of restaurants close by. There was a great fantastic, too good to be true tour guide outside. A real gem, saved us money and time.
