For some reason, people who work for the tourist industry treat travellers as if they are not like themselves. As if they do not need honest answers and the best possible advice. USE-IT Brussels proves it can be different: real people just tell you where it's at and how to act like a local. Great map, great info centre, great volunteers.

Definitely a must in Brussels. Incredibly friendly people willing to show you the best of their city. Join the free walking tour with a local they offer every Monday. Come on people, there's free WiFi, coffee and luggage store!

This info desk for travelers is a very trendy meeting place where we instantly felt welcome and accepted.
The enthusiastic volunteers gladly explain us the way around Brussels, giving lots of tips about what to do and where to go (or don't go :-) )
They gave us a free map of the city as well and kindly offered plenty of other maps of European cities. Lots of sidenotes in English on the map that were very handy!
Kind people, great city! Hope we get to see other info points like this on our trip!
