This globally celebrated zoo truly is one that merits going to. Staff inside is benevolent and is glad to answer every one of your inquiries. The recreation center itself is exceptionally well kept and delightful. There's a variety of creatures to see, including some bigger creatures from Africa. They likewise have some exceptionally intriguing fish in the aquariums, and a dolphin performance that is a joy to observe.
Really nice zoo, perfect for family visit, for kids and adults, many different animals surrounded by a nice architecture. Super handy to get here by train, being the main station house just around the corner, another must see in the city. You can even rent a stroller for few euros.
Was awesome, beautiful, fascinating, and cool. Loved the animals and plants. It's a place I wouldn't get tired of visiting be it on a daily basis
A simply outrageous Zoo eloquently manicured with very engaging exhibits. All animals were well cared for and had some of the most elaborate habitats I've ever seen a zoo provide. The staff was friendly and accommodating for us English only. I highly recommend this for a wonderful outing.
I greatly enjoyed my visit and particularly liked the number system they have to help you navigate through the zoo (though there are a couple locations that could be better marked for which direction to turn). The habitats all looked great and our visit happened to be during feeding time so we got to enjoy seeing all the animals chow down which was fun. All that said I did think the entry fee was a bit high which is the only reason I am not giving 5 stars.
Beautiful place with so many different animals. Love taking my kids here. A bit expensive but if you take a yearly family card it's much cheaper.
This zoo is definitely at the top of my list. It had a great variety of animals and was fairly inexpensive. You could spend a whole day here. The set up is a little confusing but fine if you have the time. Be prepared to walk a lot.
Great zoo in de centre of Antwerp. The zoo has a nice size to stay for a couple of hours. It is a clean zoo, which also offer a route which you can walk, so that is handy :)
Were going to spend 4 hours there but spent 10. Absolutely marvelous and fascinating zoo, if you are going to Antwerp you must visit their zoo. It's right next to Antwerp Centraal, also worth a visit.
The best Zoo I have visited (and I have visited a lot) in many years. Antwerp has a small footprint in comparison to other Zoos, but it makes up for this by being on many levels. It's like walking around a 3D maze. Great fun!
always worth a visit. It has improved since last time I was there. Easy to reach just next to central station.
A beautifully presented zoo with some stunning animals. Most enclosures are large and have lots of decoration but a few need to be made bigger such as the jaguar and the tiger exhibits. I'm sure the zoo intends to resize some of its enclosures as it continues to develop. Overall, Antwerp Zoo is a peaceful place to visit with many good enclosures, species and facilities!
A beautiful city zoo. Especially worth a visit in spring or summer because of the wonderful garden arrangements. Central location in the city is a plus and the service is not at all beastly.
China light exhibition is very beautiful. You can stay there 2 hours but you can see everything in one hour without hurry. I suggest to come 30 minutes after opening to avoid the crowd and enjoy the show quieter and at ease.
Nice place to spend few hours with kids. It is a small zoo with a good selection of animals, nicely located next to central station and easy to reach by public transport. Short walks, nice new playgrounds. Right now part of it still in reconstruction.
