Not too big zoo, but big enough for a whole day program. There is a big playground in the middle, and there are many little ones at each part. It's better if you bring foods yourself for the tour. The variety of animals are also good!

Very kids friendly zoo with plenty of space and playground for them. Several restaurants and a bonus point for the delicious pizza.

Lots of animals in a beautiful area. A nice place to spend a day to relax, also plenty of areas for children to play. Plenty of parking space.

Last time I visited this animal park was several years ago. I was very much surprised to discover how much this park has changed for the better. The kids loved it.

Great outdoor animal park for families. You can easily spend a whole day there. Food and drinks are somewhat expensive, but you are allowed to bring your own.

For my 4 and 6 year old girls, there's no better animal park. Not Antwerp, which is more urban, not Pairi Daiza or Den Haag, which have less entertainment for kids. The park itself is very logical conceived, easy to navigate, with lots of great surprises for kids. We just did four hours Planckendael and could only do 1/3 of the park. The animals are great and look happy. There are beautiful themed accents in the park. A really great experience, only the bars close early. A real winner, we'll definitely come back.

The LEGO animals are amazing! Also felt pretty cool to be one of the first people outside of Australia to see real-life Tasmanian Devils! Too bad they don't like THE Tasmanian Devil :p

Enjoyed the park. It was in comparison to when I was a child, some 40 years ago, mych more impressive. A recommendation for great and small.

Very expensive zoo. Compare this to Vienna zoo which is the best in Europe and you'll see the difference. The Indian subcontinent section is great!! It has bollywood music and the surroundings have been made to feel like india

Extremely large zoo with many side activities for children which justifies the entrance fee (26.50€ for adults plus 8€ parking fee). Spacious enclosures throughout and multiple opportunities to walk among the animals (e.g. penguins, flamingos, tropical birds, lemurs). Enclosures and animals are grouped by geographical regions with intelligently and creatively laid out routes.
