First thing you notice, clean rooms. The bed is pretty big and comfortable. The bathroom however is kinda outdated with a strangely placed toilet.
The second thing I noticed was that the room always had a sink stench in it, but might have been just my room.
No minibar in the room, but you get an empty fridge and a complementary bottle of water.
And now, the breakfast; it's awesome. Very diverse with great food an a make your own waffle stove.
Also, they serve Starbucks inside the hotel, if that matters for somebody.response / report this review -

Great place to stay in Antwerp. Staff is friendly and helpful, breakfast is amazing, and rooms are comfortable. Been coming here for 6 years and they never disappoint.

A quaint little hotel with a historic feel and yet still provides all the comforts of home. The staff here are some of the friendliest I've ever met and I really felt cared for. The breakfast was delightful. I look forward to being able to stay here again.

Centrally located and near a nice park. Right in the diamond district and close to the main rail station. Staff is courteous and the rooms are fairly spacious and well laid out.

Overall a very good experience.
Nice modern hotel with professional, courteous staff. Quite close to the main train station and the diamond district, while being only 20 minutes walk from the city centre. Has a 24/7 shop in reception which sells water, sandwiches, beer, snacks etc which is quite handy.response / report this review -

“Great experience, very good price / quality”
Staff goes the extra mile. I arrived late and the kitchen was closed but they prepared a nice snack with a smile. Same welcoming service at the reception. The lady at the morning breakfasts is a pro , with a smile. Nicely decorated rooms, (over)slept like a rose. Well done Leopold Hotel.response / report this review -

NOT SAFE / Not Secured to stay at this hotel
Someone went into my room without my permission at night while the room door was locked and the key was with me the entire time. while i was out at night partying
that person went through my belongings that was stored in my luggage and stole my suit and jewelry from the room that i locked before leaving.
The hotel front desk is not asking for any verification when asking for a room key or to reprogram the key which is very unsecured.
When i reported the situation to the Hotel
The Hotel Manager was not to helpful at all in helping us trying to resolve this by pulling the key card history of the room or reviewing the cameras that the hotel only have installed on the first floor and for some reason not on each floor in the hallway's.
The Hotel Manager was completely lying to me about a staff member being at the front desk that same night and when i told him of a specific person tat was there and one of his staff employees earlier admitted and confirmed to me that the person who i claimed to be there was there at the time but the manager denies it.
which at this point the manager makes it look like that he or someone else from the hotel staff was involved in the theft .response / report this review
