Odd smells, needs a fair bit of tlc and better customer service.

Hotel is under construction and there is a big construction site in front of the hotel. Therefore, the restaurant of the hotel is closed. Hotel is outdated, fridge did not work. But good beds and good location.

Nice and clean hotel, great situated close the city center. Our room was a little worn around the edges, however we had a nice view of the church towers. The breakfast was very average, but at 79 Euro for a night (including breakfast) I think this hotel is great value for money.

We stayed here in late April with another couple. The rooms are wholly adequate, clean and easily accessible. Beds a bit soft, but comfortable. We stayed in an annex building; one room had a small garden patio. It is near lots of places to eat and a 10 - 15 minute walk from the heart of the city and key sights.
Regarding other reviewers' comments about odors, the city is in the midst of a major construction project that surrounds the property on 3 sides, including underground utilities repairs and upgrades. It has obviously impacted hotel and restaurant operations. We felt the inconvenience was minimal and the remarks of some other reviews were inappropriately harsh and directed at the wrong people.
If anything, the hotel is a victim of poor planning on the city's part with the construction schedule. The hotel operators did everything reasonable to assure we had a pleasant stay, and we'd probably stay there again if circumstances warranted.response / report this review -

I've been here in 2014, ordered "vol-au-vent" and beers. Had a really good time with colleagues at that time and wish I could come back again.

Stay anywhere else. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I have stayed at truck stop motels that were better then this place. The entire place smells of sewage, I asked the front desk if they were aware of any reason my room would smell like a dumpster I was told to wet a towel and stuff it down the shower drain.. Or they could just properly clean there hotel. I asked for a second comforter when something was spilled on mine and was told they only have one for each room.. Just a moment before writing this review someone without a name tag or uniform opened my door while I was in my underwear with out knocking.

Maybe I visited at a bad time. While the room was good and the desk service was wonderful and friendly, the hotel was surrounded by a major construction site, parts of the hotel were closed, and the stairwell and elevator smelled like sewage.

Very central cute hotel.
After a bumpy start, where the receptionist wanted to put is the furthest half finished room we were able to renegotiate to a roof top room with view over Bruges. Great.
Breakfast was included and very good. The evening lounge was beautiful, with fire place and all.
Parking was a headache but fine once we knew how to go about it. There is the underground parking underneath the market square. From there the hotel is only across the road.response / report this review -

Pleasant stay. Room spacious modern and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely too. It is well situated as 10 mins walk to train station and just 5/10 mins to the main market square. Adjoining restaurant is also good. Standard of meal was good.
