Please save your money and go somewhere else, after the truck driver dint bother to pick my calls 5 times the 6th time he picked up and told me he had no clue if he had another job, the company's other phone numbers went ringing as well.
Finally for a booking for 9 am, the 'company guy' called at 10.30 and told me that the truck was late and I should just 'deal with it'
I had in the meanwhile moved all my things outside, so that the movers would not have to take too much time, when they finally arrive at 11.

After finishing the job in 2 hours where I helped with loading and uploading , the driver told me they have moved my things very fast and very efficiently, to which I reminded him that they were 2 hrs late and wasted my time, he gave me the unsolicited advice/life lesson that "if you are not happy with our service you will never be happy with anything in life".

This is the second time we have used Melbourne Cheap Removals. The two young men who came to our house to help us move were both so clever. I deeply appreciate their help and care. Watching them move the fridge and washing machine was a highlight, they were legends. I felt really happy to have such nice team assist me on such an important day of my life.

Seriously great Melbourne Based company that is excellent from start to finish. Quick responses to enquires, detailed quotes and professional service. I have used Melbourne Cheap Removals for local furniture collections and for a big relocation. Every time they have been outstanding. Their crew for my move from the city to the sea were amazing: friendly, careful, professional, fun. Lovely guys, super service. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I certainly DO NOT recommend this moving company. They are unprofessional, rude and damaged the piano that they were moving for me. Below is a summary of the issues:

.They were UNABLE to get the piano up stairs
. Asked me to help them move this piano and said it was my fault because I couldn't lift it.
. Asked me to 'phone friends to help them move it'.
.They then suggested that the $10,000 piano be left on the street until others can come help.
. They damaged the ebony on the piano and the rollers and took a chunk of wood off of the side as they dropped it on the stairs.
. The manager pretended to be someone else when I called and explained the situation and had no involvement with the company.
. I was hurled with abuse by the manager on the phone.
. They couldn't get it to my house up the stairs so demanded that unless they get their money for the job it won't be taken back to the original house.
. I had to pay them excess on top of their fee to take the piano back to where they picked it up so they would allow it to be taken off the truck.

AWFUL service and would not trust any of my valuables when using them for moving. If you are looking for a piano mover, spend the extra $50 to get it done properly. I used an actual professional company for a bit more money and they were able to get the piano up the stairs and in my apartment in 10 minutes with only 2 people.

Im extremely disappointed in this company and their work ethics.

The WORST experience I have EVER had with any company/business. EVER.
Firstly trying to book through email was virtually impossible as they wouldn't give me a time or day they would be moving my stuff after I paid the $20 deposit.
Secondly, after at least 4 different phone calls, I was told that my request for early afternoon moving could not be completed and they could only move my stuff at 5pm that day. I worked my entire day around this only to be woken up that morning at 10am asking if they could come in half an hour.
After I told them I could now only do 5pm they proceeded to get to mine at 9:30pm.
They finished my move at 11pm that night in the dark. I called the boss and complained and I think largely due to his broken English I was yelled at and eventually given a 5 DOLLAR discount. His employees also yelled at me on the phone throughout all of this too.
Absolutely disgusting, unprofessional business which I will warn every person I can to STAY AWAY FROM.

Worst removal company I have ever used, completely unprofessional and run by amateurs. I have used several removal companies when travelling interstate and moving house and by far this has been the worst experience I have ever had, damaging walls, appliances and bedroom furniture. 2 men arrived (3 would of been more sufficient) and proceeded to take their time, in what seemed a deliberate attempt to make money. I was even asked if taking the drawers out of a dresser would make it easier to lift, duh? Isn't that supposed be the job of a removailist to know those things? The guys were also not able to fit everything in the van as it was too small even though I stated when booking exactly what items needed to be moved. I was also told to take the rest of the things they couldn't take myself which cost me several trips in my car and a great inconvenience. The name says it all really "cheap'. If your doing a house move choose wisely and don't make the mistake I made in thinking you are saving money with this company, my advise, pay a bit more and get a 'Professional' service.
