We needed a lift chair moved from a residence to a aged care facility asap. The company did it for us the very next day in time for my mothers arrival. The guys were very polite and easy to get on with.They were very caring toward my elderly mother. I will definitely be calling upon them in the future and highly recommend them. Was able to get a next day booking, and I can't say that they didn't do their job, however my booking was rescheduled twice on the day and ended up being at 12 instead of 9.

It would have been nice if they didn't toss the empty cans from the drinks that I gave them earlier out the truck window as they left.

Although I'm fairly certain I mentioned that there would be stairs at the second address, I was changed a $120 stair fee when they arrived, and I don't really understand why it needed to be paid in cash, when the main fee was by card.

But, at the end of the day, they did move the furniture. Thanks guys 🤠

Arranged on very short notice, about 18 hrs, after other company cancelled. But they were on time, very polite and courteous. Had a laugh with them and it made the move a lot less stressful. Thank you very much guys.

The guys were late a few hours, apparently, they became very busy on my moving day. After they arrived everything went very smoothly. They packed up and later unpacked my things very quickly and effectively. Nothing was lost or damaged in any way. At the end of the day I was a very happy customer because I paid less than I expected I would have to and I was ahead of my time schedule.

This mover company is unreliable, the movers was 3 hours late to our place, no one notify us that they will be late!!! We tried to call 100 times because we moving out of apartment building and we’ve booking with apartment building for the timeframe!!! Very unprofessional!! The movers did not even say sorry on arrive for being 3 hours late!!! The management called us without any apologies and the movers working very slow !! Even know I’ve moved everything down stair for them already! They only just have to move the stuff into the truck !!! Horrible mover company ever!!

Please save yourself from the trouble and go with one of the proper moving companies. Even one star is too many for them.

We booked more than 2 weeks in advance for moving at 9am, and we received a call at 8:45 that they would be 1-1.5hrs late. So we waited till 10:45 yet no one showed up. Called them again around 11 and they said they need another half an hour. At this point we decided to cancel.

Very unprofessional. We strongly suspect that we had been double booked, otherwise it's impossible to explain such a delay.

I hate to do this because a business is someones livelihood but 1 start is too many and we're not the only people who've been absolutely ripped off by these guys. They were over 2 hours later, demanded full payment for an extra hour to move almost nothing. Fully payment had to be made before they delivered our stuff, holding it at ransom and were incredibly rude and lying over the phone. I am not the only person this has happened to, scroll through the reviews and beware. Crooks!

I made a booking two days in advance for 8.5 tons truck for $95 per hour. They brought me 5 tons truck without any notice and were charged for same amount. Is that's fair?
I sent them back and said I ordered 8.5 ton. They called me and said the 8.5 tons is not available. How you make a decision without you inform the other side.
They took to load my stuff for 2.5 hours. Ridiculous!
Finally, the total hours they Spent was in total 4.5 Hours.
This is the worst company I have ever had and I’ll not recommend to anyone .
Please Avoid, Avoid.
Very Poor Management,Dodgy Company.

Arrived late, didn’t put start time on their book they make you sign. Lost book during move, adding paid time to the process, and blamed my husband for losing it. Hardwood table and fridge damaged, but we were told the damage was already there. IT WASN’T.

These guys weren’t strong enough to lift most of the furniture, complained incessantly about how everything was “too heavy”, and dropped our couch in the yard/street several times.

Additionally, we were quoted 3-4 hours for this move as it was a 2br house WITHOUT BEDS! It took them 5 hours. FIVE!! And they tried to charge us an extra half hour by saying they started on time but lost the book so couldn’t check. They lied about their boss telling them to drop the extra half hour and I had to call back again to get that charge dropped.

We told them over and over that only the furniture and a couple of the heavier boxes were to be moved and after about an hour and a few ten minute breaks in the back of the truck they just started ignoring us and conversing in another language.

Also they kept demanding drinks from us and got cranky when we told them that our food and glasses etc were all packed, so we had to go buy them drinks.

After all that, they “found” their book in their truck and CAME BACK to “show me their start time” which they’d added in after I had signed.

Effing furious. Never again. I paid over $600 and wasted 5 hours and discovered that they’d left a cupboard, our bikes and a table in OUR BACKYARD and not told us so now I have to get ANOTHER remover to finish the job. Gutted and disgusted.

Melbourne Cheap Movers were just fantastic, the team that came were strong, capable and friendly and just made the move super easy for me! We used to live in a double storey house on a steep block which makes moving things super hard, we even had piano! But everything was done perfectly! No damage, great customer service and the rates were very cheap! I highly recommend their service – great experience 😊!

Very good and professional service. I needed help with very short notice and was so happy with Karan and his colleague: punctual, efficient, super friendly and with a nice, clean van and equipment. They handled my piece of furniture beautifully and navigated it through a tricky hallway that looked like it should have been impossible. Would definitely recommend and hire again!
