Most of the beers are decent if a little overpriced. The food is average and unimaginative though, even by pub standards.
They may be trying to go for a particular look with the furniture, I am just not sure what it is.
The staff are nice and very accommodating.

Beer is inconsistent. Most meals come with ordinary chips. Even the bangers. Wedges pretty good.

Great beers, great atmosphere, great people. Always something new to try on tap alongside some awesome regular brews and traditional cask conditioned ales.

The beer is really good with a good variety. Nice location (out of the way) but the original place had a better 'feel' to it. Easy to get a seat however as is much bigger than before. I go there every now and then and they're always friendly.

Best craft brew pub in Australia. Always has cask conditioned ale on tap.

Great place to relax and chill with some good micro brews. Food is reasonable and decent serves. I like the old charm and the mixed bag of people that frequent the place. Somewhere I definitely go every time I visit Canberra.

Pretentious, amateur-tasting boutique beer: $9. Chips that never came: $10. Sprite (almost completely flat): $4.50. Service: Surly football jock chewing gum in my face. Follow-up service about missing chips: vague and unhelpful. Cancelling the chip order a short while later: No apology, no refund offered. Atmosphere: Strictly average, about as good as a medicare office waiting room. First prize for the most crappy place I have ever bought food. Honestly, it left me with a rock-solid feeling that these guys simply think they just don't have to give a stuff. Worse than dreadful: an insult. It seems Google requires that you award at least one star to post a review. I retract that star.

Good beer, very average kranski roll that we waited 45 minutes for. Friendly staff.

Great great great beer since forever before australia wised up on life beyond tooheys and vb. Good classic pub food. Old school english/irish pub feel.

The Wig & Pen Ale Burger is amazing. The Real Ales are superb. The place is pumping, with a great mix of young and not so young. This is the place to be on a Friday night for atmosphere, food and especially the beer.
