Classic local pub with friendly staff and good food! Will definately visit again soon.
Quality beer and wine. Food's not bad either!
Friendly local bar in a thriving small, non-mall shopping centre but the free parking is getting richer by the year. Climate-controlled inside for weather extremes but outdoor seating well heated in winter. Better during week when less crowded and less dominated by sports coverage. Better pub grub at reasonable prices. No WiFi inside, CBR and Telstra Air outside
Great Canberra local pub. Great food and friendly staff!
A real gem of a pub, good food, good beer & staff who enjoy providing a service.
Set of for a different cafe just round corner, but this place was OPEN. . . 9 am Saturday and it was full whilst others still closed. Tells a story that they want your business.
Nice coffee, nice food, good staff and quick.
Nice place to go. Food was tasty and familiar, service was fine.
Love it! Fantastic pub menu with all the classics and an excellent beer and wine menu. It's been keeping Ainslie happy for a decade.
Good basic food. Friendly staff. Had great Korean prawns today. Standard menu and some specials changed regularly. Good selection of wine and beer.

I went to Edgar's for breakfast and was disappointed. My eggs were under cooked and runny, to the point when I cut through the albumen, water splashed out which was very off putting. They were not even warm (and to be honest I've never had eggs anywhere else where they were not hot). To add insult to injury, coriander was all over the dish. When are cafes going to realise coriander is either hated or loved?) For those of us who loathe the stuff it spoils a dish completely (there's even an I Hate Coriander group). The toast was underwhelming. The coffee was ok but not nearly as good as it was some years back. When I commented on the dish, I would have liked a bit more than "Sorry about that". I'm a visitor to Canberra staying in Ainslie and had a wonderful breakfast at Pulp Kitchen on another visit and would have gone there but they weren't open and there was no notice on the door so feeling a bit let down by breakfast in Ainslie.
