  Solid, it is what it is. They sell beer.. They have snooker tables. Pretty standard, good drink selection, can't really fault it so I'll give it a 5.

  Nice to finally find a genuine pub in canberra. Has a great selection of beers on tap and has many pool tables. Great place to let off some steam when in the area.

  Some bar staff a bit aloof and up themselves. Good space around the corner with lounges. Great spot for pool and a beer.

  This place was really good until I went to order a honey bourbon on the rocks and got told it had to be mixed with something. Only the top shelf could be served on the rocks. What spastic decided this!?

  Civic Pub is a decent place for a casual get-together. Don't go for the beer unless you especially like dull beer (try Bentspoke for beer with flavor). Don't go for the food if you're after a great dining experience. Do go for a place to chat that's comfy and isn't too loud. Do go if you want to pay billiards.

  Plenty of pool tables, good food options, great beers on tap
  Wi-Fi would be great as the reception in the building is a little short
  (This is a non-issue: if you're there with mates why would you want to be on your phone)
