Called today , after saying Hello I'm So& So , the receptionist said : No thanks and hang up.
Very rude, I called up again and said I wanted to order some furnitures but not anymore.
Receptionist Hang up again without a word.
How Rude.!!
Puchased through Wayfair. Items of concerns are a sleigh bed and matching tables from VC Living. 6 months old, a gap between the veneer and wood frame formed on the head and foot of the bed. I phoned Wayfair who organised the manufacturer to inspect. My husband was provided with a small pot of furniture stain to fix the exposed raw and rough veneer. Manufacturer acknowledged was a known issue but did nothing to fix. Two months later, bedside tables developed significant cracks. Contacted Wayfair, who offered me $500 as 'compensation'. Work would like cost more than that so declined their offer and pushed for a refund and for them to collect the faulty goods. The goods in no meet VC Livings claim that they will last for 'years'. The goods are not fit for purpose cosmetically or structurally. Wayfair not interested in resolving even when I questioned if I had to take to VCAT. I guess they rely on people not following through on their actions.
I’ve ordered the Clarkson and Wicker range and have been really happy with the quality of product, delivery and all around service. The first time I ordered was March of 2014 – the order arrived within a few days which was earlier than expected, especially since I ordered on the Saturday afternoon.
However one of the wicker pieces was slight scuffed and discoloured on one side, possible it rubbed against something during the move. It was hardly noticeable but I took the time to inspect every piece thoroughly as I always put myself in the final customer’s shoes. Spoke to Debbie at VC Living and she happily exchanged without any questions or extra delivery cost. I was pretty pleased with this level of service. Instead of having to argue my case and convince the supplier (which I was sure I’d have to do) it was changed over that afternoon!
I’ve had no incidents since and VC Living’s stock is always moved relatively quickly. Great line of products and good people!
I had grown tired of the wholesalers and had started contacting manufacturers directly in the Asian markets. That always got me prices, variety, stock, and customization options wholesalers here simply can’t afford. However, apparently VC Living can afford that. It was one of my regular customers with very specific taste in things who first told me about these guys. Apparently they carried a variety and quality of indoor and outdoor commercial and private use furniture that is difficult to source even through international manufacturers. I was actually pleasantly surprised when I went to the website, but being finicky, I reserved my judgement till I got to the warehouse and checked out the actual furniture. Let’s just say most of my customers looking for ‘furniture with character’ will no longer need to wait for weeks to receive a delivery. I don’t really know how VC Living has pulled this off, but the range they carry and the wholesale prices they offer just make the hassle of overseas shipment for small and medium orders an unnecessary nuisance for at least specialized retailers like me. The quality of their raisin and teak outdoor furniture, the stock of their antique reproductions and their indoor contemporary Alexander range has made me into a repeat customer and I hardly ever repeated orders with anyone before.
Some stunning pieces but the range is suited more to hotels and resorts than to restaurants so wasn’t really for us. Still a great display and helpful staff; especially loved the contemporary outdoor furniture and resin wicker range.
