A unique place to stay. Lovely kitchen and living room. Many green garden spaces for relaxing. Cells (dorm rooms) stay cool all day. Metal bunk beds are a bit creaky so can disturb sleep overnight, but are still comfy.

Probably the most welcoming, friendly, and helpful owners I've met. A good stop for backpackers looking for a cheaper option. I stayed in an old cell which was fun and not scary at all. I just spent my first night in jail! Haha.

This is a great place to stay in Mt Gambier! The owners are lovely; professional, helpful and genuinely interesting people. They've worked hard getting the old buildings looking good and turning it it into accommodation that is an absolute bargain. The history is insight, but without any of the nasty feels associated with being in an old building of human horror!
Its close enough to all the sights (and eats) of the town, but far enough away to have a restful atmosphere.
Plus there's a cool cat.
