Heritage Revisited. Great place to learn and see who built Victoria from the gold rush to recent times & the rocky path of multiculturalism.

Pretty cool collection, as a hobbyist coin collector, it's good to see the history of gold coins from around the world.

Staff at the admission country very rude. Seamed very over priced for what it was. Exhibits them selves quite interesting but the layout seamed a bit chaotic. nothing there to really engage a younger visitor either.

Fantastic experience. A great display of historical Ballarat. Only downside it needed a small cafe.

A great museum for all ages. It's well laid out, and the displays aren't too busy so they're easy to read and interpret. There's a room with a big 360 degree photo of Ballarat in its early days, and it's fantastic. Its got some interactive features which really bring it to life. I loved looking at all the real gold on display. I'd highly recommend bringing international family and friends here, it's a great insight into Australian history.

Continues the story of gold mining in the Ballarat area in more detail than Sovereign Hill and is free entry with a Sovereign Hill ticket. Visit the Museum of Australian Democracy at Eureka afterwards to complete the story/fill in a few gaps.

Very educational and informative museum. Good to see how miners worked in the past and how Victoria's history was linked to the boom of mining
