Great decor and vibe, drinks were fab. Food could be better to make it a truly great outing (plus more vego options pls!!) - I had the goats cheese tart and chips. Chips and aoili all under-salted but sticky toffee pudd was delish!!!! Easy parking, good for group and Becky (on the phone) was super gracious.

The menu was a little limited and the Steaks were overpriced considering they were on the specials board that night. Staff do provide great service.

Unfortunately did not start well, asked for stilled water to get given sparking by 2 different waitress to only get right on the 3rd time. Had to go up to the bar to remind them of the 3rd drink order that was forgotten. Orders 2 beef burgers, both on the cold side, to then discover it was still raw and pink. Mentioned to a staff member to be told they serve their patties medium rare (since when is a burger patty steak) but hadn't been informed that this is how they serve it and unfortunately one was raw not medium rare. So overall pretty bad experience, sorry.

Some decent beers on offer either on tap or in bottles. Atmosphere (we were there on a Saturday early evening) was excellent with lots of people in smaller groups. The food was fantastic, especially my starter which was pea & ham soup. Tremendous. Not cheap but money well spent.

The cheesy steak sandwich was. Different.. When they were serving it. (Cut pieces of meet , instead of a steak) (Not really to my taste) . But now , they don't even offer any steak sandwich :( . Service is a bit on the slow side (was way way worse before) so definitely improving.

Great spot with really homely new fit out. Good selection of beers on tap. Food is nice but a bit pricey, go for one of the special steak cuts for best value and they are delicious.
