Rooftop bar was amazing especially on a clear night you can sit and drink and socialise under the stars. And the bartender that was serving drinks was super friendly.

Arrgghh The Universal, an institution in the 90's. Now just depressing.
Revisited this dive after a half day seminar in Northbridge on a Friday nite for 30 mins, which was 29 mins too long. The highlight, a live band which is great.
Now still brandishing the same tired old run down interior, full of desperate dateless souls, searching, hoping to meet a similar.
Honestly as bars goes, this place nowadays is irrelevant and there are some fine specimens inside.
So many other more attractive relevant bars that at least look inviting and worth yr hard earned $$$ being spent, someone please revamp it and save it from its slow death.response / report this review -

Your staff stole $20 out of my bag.
I ordered a sex on the beach and left my new leather satchel sitting on the cocktail bar. I looked through my phone for a few moments and then looked back and the money was gone. I questioned your bartender about it and they were very apologetic and said we will get management to review the footage but I knew it was them. Later it got busy and they never even got management. I saw them leave and I thought they would come back to clean up but he didn't. Then a girl said he left. So I went to management and I said your bartender stole $20 out of my bag but they just said you can call the police we know you are a big filthy liar (EXACT words) and I left, crying. I almost forgot my bag. I was so upset I can't remember how much money I had maybe your other staff stole more while I was talking to management.
I also didn't really like the crowd. The marketing makes it seem like a kind of place where I might be able to get a new display picture but everyone there was kind of old. I know they can't help that and I'm no spring chicken myself but maybe if management were a bit more "universal" about their clientelle, the experience would have left a nicer taste in my mouth. But only if the $20 also wasn't stolen out of my bag.
P.S I constantly find myself without $20 notes and come to think of it, you guys always seem to have heaps.response / report this review -

Hands down one of the best steak sandwiches in Perth. Great staff here and always a bustling crowd. I love the live music and just general wild dancing and fun here. Always a good night.
