We booked a work lunch for 9 people and were delighted to find festive crackers and decorations on our table upon arrival which was most welcoming. The food was fresh, tasty and delivered quickly and the service was wonderful. A great experience - would highly recommend ThaiHerb.

Food is amazing! Have never had a bad meal - eating in or take away. Service is friendly and withing reasonable time. Portions were large and well priced. Best Thai in Canberra in my opinion.

Really good place for Thai food. The mango sticky rice is amazing. Eggplant tofu is also good but a little bit salty. Maybe ask for less salt next time. Good service as well.

The best Thai restaurant that I have tried in North Canberra. The food has consistently been good. The ambience of the place is pleasant and relaxed. The red Thai curry and the chilli basil stir fry is our all time favourite.

Two stars because the food is good. However, we've ordered takeaway twice from Thai Herb and turned up to pick it up 25 minutes later when they told us would be ready, only to be asked to pay and then told it will be "ready in a few minutes". We've then had to wait another 15-20 minutes before our food is ready. Once can be put down to a mistake, twice not.
1. If it's going to be another 15 minutes, tell people that.
2. If you're trying to avoid "no-shows" and it's your strategy to wait 'til people arrive to pick up their takeaway and pay before cooking their food, it's not acceptable to keep people waiting so long. We would've given you a credit card number over the phone and had the meals were ready when you said they were going to be, but now we will not be coming back to your restaurant.

Best Thai northside. Although I've never eaten in the restaurant the food we takeaway is always fresh and tasty and worth the slightly more expensive price.
Ordering through their website is hassle free and the pick up estimate time has never been incorrect so there's no waiting around.

Excellent Thai! The food is always good, well presented, and lovely atmosphere. They get very busy on Fridays and Saturdays so I would recommend making a booking.

Entrees often cold.. or warm long wait for mains.. small for the price but taste is good.. very hot and miss best time to go is a lunch service. Dinner always takes a long time to come out

Have given this restaurant a couple of goes - all not gone well - and this time was the last. All entrees were cold as if they had been sitting around for some time (we waited at restaurant for order to be made, and very short drive home only), and while the mains were hot, they were mostly inedible. Almost full dishes left over, and definitely not worth leaving for left overs the next day. A very disappointing experience (again, unfortunately), and considerable waste of money.

The staff are usually nice and friendly. Food is also pretty good without really standing out as awesome. Have had some problems with takeaways - been forgotten about on hold on the phone and suffered some very long waits (1hr+) for ordersthis is just because it's popular though.

Excellent Thai restaurant northside Canberra. Highly recommend booking if you are planning on heading there for dinner. A great variety of entrees and mains as well as stir-fry options of varying spice and heat level. Would recommend.

Favourite Thai restaurant in Canberra by a long shot. Delicious fresh food and a few interesting menu items not always found in thai restaurants. Can be a bit hard to get service when dining in- the staff are very nice, they are just so busy with their takeaway service. Hopefully they will start putting more staff on to meet demand.

Loved it! We just popped in one evening to celebrate a personal achievement and this place made it way sweeter for us. Great food, good portions (don't waste time with the starters, go straight for the mains) and service was medium paced. We will definitely go back for more as this is the best Thai on the North side.

Part II - So we have been to Thai Herb about three times since my first review. We have always had a great experience, however this time they surpassed all expectations. We mixed up our order and got something different to what we imagined. However our server was patient and just one of the most wonderful people we have met. She not only got us the dish we wanted, but we weren't charged for it either. Even though I offered to pay, they would not have any of it. Very few restaurants in Canberra go above and beyond to please their guests. Five stars again!
