It's a motorcyclist friendly pub in the middle of a quaint country town . Reasonable at $60 for a single , basic but clean overnight accommodation , town has a museum , bowls club and golf course but hopefully the tennis courts will be up and running soon .

I arrived in Texas by sheer luck, the floods prevented me from travelling any further & I couldn’t have landed a better spot. Amazing people, unreal food, a landscape to die for & an experience of a lifetime. Could not recommend staying at the Stockman Hotel more highly, you will not be disappointed! Thank you Texas QLD you’ve made my trip.

An awesome biker friendly pub, great atmosphere, food and hospitality. The downstairs rooms are great, you park out the front of your room and under cover. The staff are friendly and accommodating (even though we were a little rowdy). Highly recommended.

Love this country pub. The crew and the owner are excellent. Sure it's not 5 star accommodation it's a country pub what do you expect. Food is good. What else to say. Go give them a go.

We celebrated our 43rd Wedding anniversary in the same dining room that we celebrated our wedding breakfast in. When we were taken to our reserved table there was a homemade sign wishing us "Happy Anniversary". How wonderful is that! Meal was excellent - steak and vegetables cooked to perfection. Staff were happy and helpful. Thank you.
