Customer service great unfortunately food choice and food quality has seemed to have fallen by the way side

Love the lunch menu x and enjoy meeting friends and knowing that the deliciously meals are always wonderful. The staff are delightful , nothing to much trouble x and owner Clint , is always hands on .He is a wonderful chef and therefore knows how to present a total experience .

Everytime our club visits this great restaurant the service is fantastic and food always surperb and good healthy selection. The girls are always friendly and greet you with a smile. Awesome coffee as well

Poor service! It was a quiet evening, we were 1 of 3 tables. Intially, the waitress seemed attentive taking our drink order promptly. When she returned with our bottle of wine and two glasses she put the wine bottle into the ice bucket without pouring us our first glass.
After receiving our meals, in a timely fashion, I dropped my knife onto the floor, she picked it up and placed it back on the table (so I could still use it).
My chilli mussels (extra chillies) was excellent. Juicey mussels in a rich tomato sauce so good. My dinner buddy's fisherman's platter was tasty.
After an obvious request for a spoon half way through the meal the waitress didn't reappear. She was behind the reception making phone calls (I'm sure they were business related).
Our plates were cleared in a timely fashion but she never asked how our meals were, I would have raved about the mussels to her asking that the chef was made aware of my feedback.
That was it, no more "service". No offer of dessert or coffee Probably couldn't have fitted in dessert but I would have ordered a coffee Nothing!
We were the one's to get up from our table and present to the reception to pay the bill.
Not sure I would return. Food was 7/10 but service was maybe a 2/10.response / report this review -

Amazing food. $12 lunch and dinner specials are great quality and all the prices are great for what you get! Good wine list and beyond amazing service. Whether you want a romantic dinner for 2, meet friends for brunch by the beach or a quick coffee to take away, best cafe in rockingham. Also all food is available for takeaway!!

Still my favourite place to go in the forshore area. The $19 dinner menu is just incredible value for money. This is a restaurant who's focus is on good food and customer service, not profit. I have a feeling the other restaurants rely heavily on the view they can provide their patrons, but in the end dinning out is about the food and conversation.

Nice location near the beach but out of the afternoon sun. Reasonable prices including a good range of $19 dinners. I had the fish and chips which was nicely presented. Maybe a tad salty. Service and staff very good.

My favourite lunch spot in Rockingham. There's a $10 lunch special, set few dishes but all are a good meal on their own. Broader menu is well priced but the quality stands out, good kitchen. Has a licensed bar so easy to have a meal and a drink by the sea.
