Loved it! one of my favourite cable car rides in the world: passing over the tops of the tropical rain forest for miles and miles. The views were spectacular! Highly recommended.

It was unbelievable and incredibly emotional and cognitive adventure. I recommend to visit this place to everyone. There are some kinds of plants and trees which came to us from Dinosaurs’ period!!! It’s only there you can see them.

You'll get magnificent ocean view and tropical mountain view at the same time. Worth a visit for sure. Would be great to combine the trip with the scenic train.

Incredible views. You can get on an off the cable car and complete the trip in your own time, with the opportunity to walk around the national park at each stop. My partner and I were able to have a car to ourselves.

Amazing experience going up the skyrail through the treetops. The town itself and the markets weren’t overly exciting. Train ride back down was a nice way to spend the afternoon and experience some history.

A great day trip and option. Cairns, Port Douglas, Mission, the reef. All gorgeous and a part of the Cairns experience. But - don't let the coast make you forget the hinterland. The Atherton Tablelands are beautiful. Stunning in a different way.

Mixed feelings. Great gift shop with a wide range of prices. Staff very helpful. However then I went to purchase tickets and waited where indicated for bookings while others who were queued in the check in line were served before me at the counter signed for bookings. I left after the third time someone else was served first. They clearly didn't want my money.

The view from the Skyrail was beautiful on our perfect sunny day up into the rain forest. We only had about 45 minutes to spend in Kuranda, but discovered a great lolly shop and an aboriginal art shop full of crazy old masks, boomerangs and clap-sticks. The train ride down was spectacular in places with several huge waterfalls. Would recommend to those not scared of heights. Overall the trip was great.

Decent alternative to train. You can catch a local bus at bottom every hour .Friendly lady making decent coffee at cafe down the bottom is a good place to sit in air conditioning while waiting for bus.It even has a phone recharge station if your phone uses micro usb or Apple. Good views.Expensive $50 one way or $75 return.

Booked as shore excursion. Amazing birds eye view of the lush rainforest, a variety of trees and catch a glimpse of birds and blue butterflies. Spend time at each of three stops getting a closer view of waterfalls, thicks vines.

Decent way to see the rainforest. The town at the top is a bit too touristy with not much to do other than shopping. Don't spend the extra money for the diamond view, you end up waiting longer to get on the cableway and the view isn't any better.

Great outfit and well run. Staff were pleasant, informative and efficient. Took the standard cable car as we were part of a tour, which limited our time there, but would have definitely preferred the diamond cablecar which allows you to see down (through the floor via a glass panel). A little more expensive than the standard one but may be worth it on a good weather day.

An amazing view with a peaceful atmosphere. There are multiple stops along the way. One of them is Barron falls which is beautiful and in wet season is full of water. Boardwalks along the way are great with very easy access. Highly recommend doing this at least once (or twice!)
