We were unsure which company to choose to experience the reef with. At first it seemed super busy by the number of people in line, but the whole day just exceeded our expectations! The food was great, the staff are super friendly and it all ran so smoothly. I would highly recommend Reef Magic!

    What a fantastic day.
My partner & I went on the Great Barrier Reef cruise, 5 hours at the Reef.
From the start they were organised, quick boarding.
Tea & coffee served till the vessel set off so get one fast as it's an hour and a half to the Reef station.
The instruction was delivered well & the marine biologist talk was very informative on the way.
Drinks & snacks served at a reasonable price.
My partner was snorkelling & I went to sunbathe and go on the glass bottom and submersible boat. Even though I wasn't taking part in the water activity I had a good day.
The food was good and plentiful.
My partner says the instructor was excellent & very knowledgeable.
    All the staff were friendly.
Safety & equipment were very good.
In the way back nibbles were available.
The boat was clean and comfortable.
All ages were on our boat from young to older & families. We are in our 30's.
    Would recommend.

An amazing day!!! All the staff are so friendly and so helpful always on hand to explain the day or assist you with something. A real young, chilled vibe very relaxed. The only thing is although you're technically at the reef for 5 hours as it claims, you're only allowed in the water for 4 so just beware that you arrive at 11 and have to be out of the water by 3. And there's lunch too so just take that into account when planning activities etc. But overall the food was delicious, the staff were faultless and the reef is just sublime. The pontoon makes all the difference as you can sit there and chill rather than only having a boat. Such a great operator definitely choose them!!!

Could not fault. Staff, food and activities were brilliant. No doubt helped going out on a calm cloudless day. Highly recommend.

Had a great experience on the reef today. Pretty good customer care and good knowledge of the reef and its environment. It was a much better day than what we were expecting in terms of what we saw and the snorkeling experience. Support Aussie and you won't be sorry. Be prepared to be up sold all sorts of extra experiences - but we didn't do anything beyond the basic package and were not disappointed. Great snorkeling, good food, glass bottom boat, semi submersible boat and all gear supplied. Excellent duty of care as well - I just read an older review that complained about that and I think they must have changed their procedures as total care was given today.

A great trip, food was good and staff really helpful!

The day ran really smoothly and everything was done in good time. The lunch was lovely (just keep in mind arrival tea and coffee are included, no snacks though so have breakfast before arrival).

The guided you of the reef in the afternoon was really good and we were incredibly lucky to see all sorts of fish including A Turtle & a Shark!!! So lucky! The Marine Biologist we had was incredible and really made our day! It would be good to be able to do this tour in the morning so we have more idea what to look for in the afternoon swim.

Would recommend for anyone as a standard reef trip for beginners & snorkellers.

Great expirience. We made it in Nov. 2012 and loved it. We leaved at 08:00 am and were back at 06:00 pm. Great. We are no scuba diver, so it was the best to see the reef for us. Great stuff (Movember time) and everything else too. Thanks.

Very professionally run. Experienced captains and crew. Plenty of activity options. We chose Reef Magic because of long time (abt 5 hours) out at sea. While most went straight into water for snorkelling upon arrival (excellent reef with plenty of fish), we chose semi-submersible tour (worth doing), beating the afternoon packs.

Official photographer images taken during tour are expensive IMHO. But hire of underwater camera is worthwhile, if you want to take away such unique images. I availed of "adventure" snorkelling tour, a pleasant swim with the current semi-circumnavigating the small atoll. Even more and bigger fish to see. I saw no turtles, but did get a good glimpse at a reef shark before it sank to the depths of the sea.

Don't be an idiot during sting ray season, and wear a provided lycra body suit (though I kept hood down so I could hear lead swimmer during tour). With warmth of water, no need for wet suit (unless you prefer).

Food selection is good for this type of occasion. Complimentary tea and coffee is welcomed, though remember that this cannot be consumed whilst boat is travelling.

I highly recommend Reef Magic Cruises.

Best deal for your money by far. Out on the reef for 5 hours, and everything included. An amazing day, you'll want to come back the next day and do it again!
