My husband & I never stay anywhere else I just love the minute you step inside the familiar beautiful perfume of lilies greets you. Ree is the most welcoming person to greet you & makes you feel it is so nice to see you return. She is a most caring person & goes beyond the mile to see you settled. I love this special place Annette & Barry Knight we'll be back.

Simpsons is a private hotel located in Sydney's Potts Point area, about 25 minutes walking distance from the Tower. Many nice restaurants and bars are available closed by in Potts Point. A tasty cold breakfast was included with our room (#9). Thanks to our neighbors the evenings were quiet. I did not give five 5 stars because of a few shortcomings such as a very soft bed, a defective air conditioning unit that could not be effectively controlled and a shower that was hard to keep at the desired temperature. I think these issues should be addressed considering the room rate.

"Ruined Wedding night"
Simpsons Hotel decided to tell us about a supposed 'double booking' the evening before our wedding. THE EVENING BEFORE. Absolutely ridiculous. They offered no solution (other than booking us into surrounding accommodation) and could not explain their lack of knowledge about this supposed 'double booking' in the weeks leading up to our stay. We are well aware that it would have something to do with price bumping which independent hotels are allowed to do. What hotel does not know about a double booking weeks in advance?! Not only this, when I was on the phone to them, they couldn't care less! Received message on Friday evening and was supposed to stay on Saturday. My wife was devastated. BEWARE, don't stay here on your wedding night as they may bump you out last minute when all the beautiful hotels are fully booked!!response / report this review
