Awesome tour the guides all knew so much about the marine life and the reef and were all super friendly. It was a nice small boat with only 36 people so wasn’t overcrowded. Went to Michaelmas Cay and Hastings reef for 2 hours at each place. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea were all provided and delicious. They supply you with everything you need (snorkle gear, flippers, stinger suit, sunscreen) all we needed to take were towels and cameras.

This was easily our best snorkeling for the week in Cairns and even better than our trip to Cape Trib. Michaelmas Cay and Hastings Reef were incredible. The structure of the reef and depth in addition to the diverse marine life and perfect conditions on the day made it an unforgettable experience. Also need to mention that they have an incredible crew. Quite an amazing and rare bunch that all contributed to making the trip worthwhile. Great option for diving also. Would like to come back to Cairns just for diving at hastings reef.

We spent an amazing day out on the reef with this guy's. Very entertaining, good quality gear, clean and they have all possible sizes. The crew was super nice and friendly. The meal and snacks were great, they always had tea and coffee. They even had sunscreen for everyone to use. If you are choosing, come here.

This was a most amazing and unforgettable experience! We arrived at the pier 7:30am along with approximately 35 others and at 8am we took the journey out to the first snorkeling destination.
We stopped there for 2 hours and I literally couldn't believe how beautiful it was - just like in pictures but to be in the water experiencing the depth and beauty of the many different corals and pretty fish of all different shapes,sizes and colours was something else!
We then had a lovely lunch, continued on to the next snorkeling destination and again spent 2 hours there which also included a 30 minute glass bottom boat tour of the reef.
All our equipment was provided ( snorkel,flippers,goggles,wetsuit) The crew were brilliant,especially Charles.
We didn't experience any sea sickness.
Arrived back at the pier around 4:15pm, was certainly a day that we will never forget and look forward to doing it again in the future.

Super friendly crew and the boat itself only took 36people which is great. Less people in the water. The 2 location they took us was both amazing. I get to see lots beautiful corals, turtles, giant clams and nemo!! I definitely recommend to whoever going to the great barrier reef to go with this company! 👍👍

Had a great day on this cruise. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and fun but also paid attention to safety procedures and were very professional. I knew I was in safe hands all day and that they really knew their stuff. Don't be deceived by their youthful good looks! The quantity and quality of food was great and the small numbers on board made the experience so much more enjoyable and personal. Had plenty of time to explore the reef and a particular highlight was the glass bottom boat tour. Captain Sam's hillarious and informative commentary on the mating habits of various sea creatures will stay with me for quite some time! Ignore the whingers, you're all doing a great job.

Fantastic way to see the reef for a day. You get to experience two dive/snorkeling locations that are both amazing. Be careful if you experience sea sickness, the trip can get a bit choppy, and you will get wet if you sit near a window.

Seastar's Cruise was simply sensational. The young yet highly knowledgeable crew was a pleasure to travel to the GBR with. Our day was jam packed with high quality snorkelling, delicious lunch and local knowledge. The Free photos on Facebook was an excellent gesture. I cannot recommend Seastar enough for making my trip to the Great Barrier Reef safe, enjoyable and extremely fun. Thanks legends!

Friendly staff, great spots at Michaelmas and Hastings reefs for snorkelling. Nice lunch and snacks. 2xhalf hour guided snorkel tours were V helpful. Also a video on the boat to kill the 1hr+ ride. Glass bottom boat and dives too. Great way to spend a day at the incredible GBR.

Had the best experience on the reef with these guys. Professional and very cheerful. Definitely recommend them if you want an unforgettable experience. The crew to patron ratio was high so plenty of help around if you needed any.
Also, I forgot my contacts and the fact they had a few prescription snorkel masks to borrow shows their attention to detail and the will to make all of us enjoy our trip.
