The place is fine. I was there for a work event and we were in a separate area so I can't really speak to the whole place. The area looks a bit sketchy, but I didn't have any issues while I was there.

we enjoy going to The Sands.. just limited with the Gluten free meals to choose from. And the kids room is a bit sparse with the games not quite working.. the outside play equipment is really good though.. no issue with prices

Worst Parma ever. Burnt. Chips were soggy like they had been sitting under a heat lamp for half an hour. Kids meal was just as bad

Our roast beef lunch was overcooked, meat so tough I couldn't cut it, even with my daughter's steak knife. The broccoli was undercooked . The portions were very generous for a senior's lunch though. We had to wait too long as two tables on a tour we're all served before us, even though we were there first. I know they probably prior booked. We've had other lunches there and never been as disappointed as last Saturday.

The staff were friendly and the food was good. The menu choices weren't overly exciting but having some where decent where our kids can play is nice.

Irish bar is the best it had to offer, bistro is small and out in the open. Food is not worth the money you pay, value for money is poor.

What a shame, I live within walking distance and would love to have a bistro that I could go to regularly and enjoy meals. This unfortunately is not it. The service is good but the food is just awful. I ordered chicken wellington with a side of chats and buttered greens. What I got was some mushy chicken in soggy puff pastry, normal fried chips and no greens. When I asked about the veg, they returned with some clearly microwaved chats. Could not eat this and left after two mouthfuls. Not the first time I have been either, this was the second and last chance for dining.
