Delicious food and great servicedefinitely come againbeen in rockingham for 10 years and its our first time in this place
We went there for my 68th birthday. There were 14 of us. The service was high quality with genuine smiles. The food was the delicious Chinese fare we have come to expect from this place. It's definitely a restaurant to come back to again and again - I have. I give it all the stars available, 5, 7 or 10.
Thank you for a most pleasurable evening. We all enjoyed it.
Jef.
PS forgot to mention the dessert treat - deep fried ice cream. My grandkids first time. They (we all) loved it - yum.
Always amazing food from here - stupidly went elsewhere once and regretted it immediately! Great Chinese 😋
We ordered the 3 person banquet for 3 adults and my 3 year old. Food was sufficient for all of us. Spring roll is crispy with meat and celery inside, a rather unique taste for us. My husband who didn't like celery ate the spring roll and said it's good.
Gu lou yok was crispy and tangy.
Sze Chuan beef was slightly fried with crispy sides yet tender.
Overall nice food with quick service.
Good service, nice food, good value.
Always fresh, delicious meals. Szechuan beef has been a favourite since childhood, and Rockingham Village do a spectacular job. Absolutely no complaints!
Spring rolls are amazing the biggest and best in the south. Always worth a visit and prices not to be beaten
Service is great. They are very attentive and make you feel welcome. Food was top notch. Be eating here again. Toddler friendy too
Lovely service and décor but not a fan of the food for the price it is. Generally was decent but perhaps I am a little too spoiled on the choices and prices available up in Northbridge!
Don't know why this has appeared on my phone. Haven't been there for ages and have no intention of doing so. I think I wrote a review the last time I was there and it was honest and not at all complimentary. The food is very ordinary and way overpriced. The price problem seems to be the same with all the Rockingham Chinese restaurants, but Rockingham Village has the least appealing quality meal wise of them all. Anyway my opinion is obviously not shared by everyone as it always seems busy. With the quality, the size of the portions, and the price the profit margin must be enormous.
Great food and prompt. Just a little pricey
Good food. Clean and tidy. A little on the expensive side for a standard chinese restaurant
Have driven past Rockingham Village many times but had yet to try it. The outside always seems to be packed with cars so I wanted to see what it was all about, and I’m glad I did because RV has many great things about it. The atmosphere is adaptable to lunch or dinner with the large windows which let the light in during the day or the classy look for a date night with the tablecloths and cloth napkins. I went during the day time where they had lunch specials available which are individual dishes with both meat and rice. It seemed lots of other people were having the specials too, and they all looked so delicious it made it hard to choose. However, I ended up eating satay beef – my old favourite. My partner had the Szechuan beef as it was recommended to us and we both love spicy food. These sound boring but they came out quick and were totally delicious. We were given nice cold filtered water to go with our meal and this complemented our spicy meals very well. It’s a shame I took so long to come and try this place, because I’ll definitely be coming back here to try their other dishes.
