Mixed experience using this company.

The actual removalists were courteous and efficient. The lady that takes bookings was also a pleasure to deal with. That part of the transaction went really well and I was pleased.

However, upon unpacking, I noticed that my art frames had been scratched up during the move. Attempting to get a response from the company following that was a painful experience. I had to keep calling and following up. It took almost a month before someone looked into my issue.

It's worked out okay in the end. I would've rated them positively had it not been for the post-transaction support and refund conditions. The damages weren't a big deal, but following up on their no damage guarantee was frustrating.

I cancelled this booking for moving 1 large heavy table within the same property and moving 1 large table from one suburb to the next to put in space where original table. I was upfront about the table in the same property being heavy.
I had agreed to a third mover on inquiry about the heaviness of the table to be moved internally after providing photos.
However I find it remarkable that Rocket Removals decided to change the job price and insist a 4 hour minimum for this job. An apartment with large items like a fridge and washing machine and dryer might take 4 hours, not this.
The job price had I proceeded it would have resulted in a cost of $688. That is absolutely inconceivable as a fair price involving two tables in the manner described.
Therefore it could only be concluded that Rocket Removals sought to overcharge due to a slightly more than simple request for pure exorbitant financial gain.
I would never use Rocket Removals and I would not recommend it to anyone I know.
I remain amazed at the brazen attempt at overcharging by Rocket Removals and in particular by the service manager.
I booked elsewhere with a well known removalist company. I was charged much less than half of Rocket Removals price and they did the job efficiently and fuss free in much less than half the time Rocket Removals claimed was required.

I have had a mixed experience engaging rocket removals. The first time was wonderful and the second time was not great as marks were left on the walls of my townhouse. I had to pay my landlord quickly to fix the damage, however I did get my money back from rocket removals. They implemented measures to ensure this doesn't happen again.

This is the second time we used Rocket Removals. The best company I found. I had a old piano to be delivered. These guys did such amazing job and went beyond took my door off to fit the piano through and put the door back. Thank you so much again. Theirs price is very reasonable too.

Edit: I've moved again in 2021 and Rocket Removals were the best and easiest to deal with quote, even though I messed up the original inventory list and had to revise it before finalising the booking. Sam and Sonny were punctual, professional, efficient, and friendly. This was a furniture-only move over an hour between locations. I had a few oversize pieces, but nothing was a problem for these guys. Truck and equipment were really good, everything was wrapped and padded for the move, and they listened and communicated really well.

Original review from 2016: The guys were really great and took wonderful care of all our stuff, and had really clear communication with us about what was coming in the load and what was not, and where things were going at the other end. They were also very friendly and efficient.
Truck and equipment were all top notch.
Communication with Rocket to set up the move was all really clear and well understood as well, both over the phone and in emails.

Very pleased with the two guys who moved us into our new home. They were punctual, friendly, shared advice and some handy tips. Very polite and helpful, as was the first guy I spoke to on the phone. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Rocket removals were fantastic, we had 3 young strong friendly guys who made a very difficult move easy. Nothing phased them. We had a double storey house on a very steep block to move into, with lots of stairs and heaps of stuff. Including a piano. They took every care and nothing was damaged. They even disassembled and put our furniture back together. Rates were very reasonable, we consider it money extremely well spent!

Too many removalists out there only interested in the $$$. It's comforting to know there is still a service that cares for the people.
