Disappointed with the service they showed up 5 hours later than when I booked it in. They also sent their accountant as one of the two man team because they are short staffed. He's not to blame of course but he was pretty inefficient. Charged 5 hours for a job that took 4 hours last year with the same company and same if-not-less amount of furniture.

I moved last week with Graham and Ivan. Firstly I would like to thank them, they were really nice and professional. As I had a headache with the previous removalist, I was a bit worried about my moving. However, Graham and Ivan did a great job and they were so friendly and professional. I recommend them to anyone. I have moved across the country twice without so much as a hassle, across the outback and had no worries. I tried to move a two bedroom apartment around the corner and I had never been more stressed.
One star is what I'd rate the poor mismanagement, unorganization and broken equipment - as well as the INCREDIBLY laxidase attitude that the supervisor, [REDACTED] had towards the packing and the moving team who desperately tried to call to tell him that they would need more people to finish at a reasonable time.

However for the moving team, I'd want to give them a far higher score. They handled some of the worst case of unorganization with a great "can-do" attitude and were some of the most friendly people I'd ever had the pleasure of meeting.

The pack and wrap stage was fine, done in seven hours but some of the boxes were quite literally packed to the brim and forced shut. Thanks for doing that to my bohemian glassware! Really appreciate it! And thanks for managing to fit my cast iron pot and skillet in together, I can tell you guys definitely knew that two pieces of cast iron cookware just NATURALLY go together!
They also misjudged the size of the vehicle/people who were needed for this move.
When it should have been a 4 tonne truck they sent two - when four men were needed they sent two. One of the two failing to show up after an hour, and the other being called in on his promised day off - which is completely unacceptable.

Despite starting at 9am, where the original scheduled start was 8am, we finished at just past 8pm, with only one of the original two workers. Two trips were required to bring the remaining furniture to my new apartment, but it was much too late in the day, and all parties were far too exhausted from hauling over stuffed boxes up stairs to continue.
And if something comes up on a Sunday? Like your need to reorganize a day very urgently? I hope you like listening to voice automation, cause that's all they have. You'd think for a large interstate company they'd have a limited customer service call center at the very least.

Time is a massive constraint in all moves, and for it to be pushed back another day, (where the move would be completed after 3 days, 3 DAYS) meant that I would be missing out on university work, regular work, and to have a huge amount Of stressed placed on my shoulders and the very real threat of losing my bond.

So thanks move on removals, for what was probably the worst moving experience of my life, thanks for being so unorganized I had to miss out on classes for a day that the move was meant to be finished, thanks for causing me to reschedule my cleaners and my exit inspection - because those were oh so fun calls to make, and lastly, thank you for unpreparing a team that is too good for your piss poor company.
I hope if you're thinking of moving with this company, you decide to go elsewhere. They are undeserving of your hard earnt cash. But if you're looking for a stressful, exhausting and otherwise deeply regrettable experience that'll leave you painfully sore and mentally drained? Then you've found your dream moving company.

About two days have passed since the initial move, and Im beginning to unpack the incredibly over stuffed boxes that the wonderful pack and wrap team, [REDACTED] and [REDACTED]left for me.
You can imagine my surprise yo learn that my fresh fruit for some reason was unlabeled on the box, and stuffed under a heavy piece of decorative seiryu stone, placed in the mixing bowl for my very expensive kitchen aid, leaving it with scratches!
Thanks for irreparably damaging a beloved 21st birthday present!
Another very fun tidbit was learning that all of my sauces and spices, some of which I had to import from the US were quite literally thrown in there.
I can't highlight the absolute disregard enough.
There was so little care taken, that my cinnamon shaker was not wrapped up in cling wrap, but was instead tossed in upside down and got everywhere in my box, so thank you [REDACTED] for that, it's very fun to clean up on my new carpet.

We recently used Move On Removals for a short hop from St Kilda to Hawthorn, our removalist's were Thomas and Karl. I had doubts using a removalist again as we've had bad experiences in the past but Move On came highly recommended from a friend. They were SENSATIONAL! Thomas and Karl we're bang on time, they were polite, friendly and SUPER efficient. I was impressed at the extra care taken when moving everything as well. The fridge, TV, couch and dryer were all wrapped in blankets and then shrink wrapped so there was not one bit of damage. Everything arrived safely at the new house and when they couldn't get the mattress bases up the staircase, they were determined not to leave without finishing the job properly. Out came the straps and up and over the balcony we went. I cannot recommend them highly enough — amazing service, and based on other quotes we got, Move On were by far the best value for money.

I was very impressed with Move On Removals. The two movers were polite, efficient and hard workers. I chose this company even though they were not the cheapest quote - sometimes it is worth it to pay a bit extra to get people who know what they are doing and who take great care of all your possessions.

Ronnie and Karl were exceptional movers. Provided unmatched service and handled everything hassle free. They called 15 minutes before arrival and were a pleasure to talk to and get to know. We made a stop to pick up an extra item (desk) between point A and B as scheduled. The receptionist and customer service representative were also easy to understand and very helpful on the phone by setting up the appointment; also followed up the day before to confirm the service and allowed an earlier time as there was a cancellation. All-in-all the entire experience was a pleasurable one and money well spent.

23/7/2016 Carl & Simon were the greatest removalist team in the world. Together with logistic support from Donnie, our experience was world class. Punctual. Detailed. Safe.

We needed to bump out from more than one residential property and deliver to a single destination, this challenge was handled with the professionalism & empathy of industry best practice.

The work ethic & physical strength of the men, had to be seen to be believed. Lastly, both boys were bilingual, and were happy to translate in Italian or Geordie when required.
