Nice staff. Clean rooms. Breakfast is a regular continental breakfast not too good. Facilities appear to be due for remodeling. Haven't tried dinner here. Location is great.

Very nice place to stay. Resort is starting to look a little tired and can do with a little TLC. Restaurant food was beautiful and the staff were fantastic. Best place to be was the pool with the swim up bar.

The Ramada Resort Port Douglas is a very lovely place to get away from the rat race of life. Situated a short 2 minute walk from the world famous Four Mile Beach, nestled in amongst a natural forest. The Tree Bar is surrounded by a large pool made to look like a natural running creek, with a swim up bar. The rooms are beautiful and well kept. The service throughout the resort is of a very high standard.

Stayed for one night. Modern and clean rooms. Amazing pool area with swim up bar and poolside restaurant. Not in the centre of town though, but 5 minute drive away.

Hotel staff were very accommodating and informative, the room was well furnished and the poolside restaurant was excellent! Had a wonderful time at Ramada, will recommend highly to individuals, couples and families alike!

Nice clean rooms and comfortable bed. Beautifully landscaped.
All the guests and staff we spoke to agreed the pool was too cold. Just a few degrees warmer would have made a big difference. Restaurant meals were disappointing on several occasions. The barramundi was great.response / report this review -

Friendly and courteous staff as you would expect in a place like this.
I love the peaceful feeling that you get when you enter the board walk with tall trees, palms and other tropical plants shading the way.
The pool and restaurant are located together with a nice balance of tree canopy.response / report this review -

Beautiful place to stay! Great access! 24 hour reception. The only issue we had was that there seeemed to be some sort of bug in our bed that bit my wife overnight. But they were great and changed all our linen upon request. Overall I would recommend!

I arrived at Port Douglas on a Sunday night and was suggested to eat dinner at the ramada resort. I ordered a barramundi dish only to find a fly in my potatoes. As the waitress collected our plates asking how our meal was I honestly said there was a fly in my meal, this lead her saying "that's Queensland weather for you" if Queensland weather is a fly caramlised in the potatoes that's unusual. She than said she will get her manager but only to come back and say we can refill your drink. I was very unsatisified with the outcome. I did not take up the offer. We abruptly left this lead my wife and daughter not finishing there meal. What an experience never to go back.

The resort grounds are fantastic! The Restaurant is okay but a little pricy for what it serves. The drinks are shaving though. The pool is lovely and although the resort is not right on the beach, it is only a short walk away to Four Mile Beach. Strangely, the hotel is stingy about their blankets. They would not give us another one for our bed.

Absolutely loved my time here. Had a hotel deluxe room and was extremely comfortable. The pool and restaurant/bar area is perfect. Would definitely recommend.

The resort it's self is just amazing. The rooms are spacious, however, a bit basic, leaving room for improvement . Other than that, it is a great resort with fantastic staff. I for one will definitely be going back.
