Well priced resort a 20 minute walk from Port Douglas. The rooms are a bit dark but I if staying there I would recommend spending your time by the pool which the kids loved. Included breakfast is just ok.

Food was ok I guess. The rooms were quite dated and felt unclean. The movie was too noisy at night and the toilet kept making noises at night. The bed was uncomfortable and there was cockroaches on the bench and floor. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The pool was awesome and great temperature to swim.

Location is fantastic. Within easy walking distance from Four mile beach (which is stunning) Resort it's self is very nice indeed. The apartment we were in could have done with a bit of freshening up but was clean and well equipped. Staff on reception were a little abrupt upon check in and not very informative but were good at their jobs. Subsequent requests for information etc. We're handled efficiently. The included breakfast was very good indeed and when we dined in the restaurant at night the quality of the service and food were superb. All in all a very nice place to stay.

We are really looking enjoying it here. The staff are helpful and friendly, the restaurant good and the units cleanand comfy. Good beds too. Great pools for the little one, and the continental breakfast buffet is generous.

Great staff and multiple pools on site. Perfect for a family visit. Some apartments have full kitchen facilities, perfect for self-catering.

We were moved from our first apartment due to a minor issue and staff handled it very quickly and professionally. Facilities are excellent as is the on site restaurant and bar. Breakfast buffet is fine but staff seem overwhelmed at times with the work. The pools are great for the kids and parents alike.

The resort was under construction during our stay, kick back by the pool to the sound of jack hammers and circular saws.. no functioning restaurant so it was a lovey 15 minute walk to the next resort for our complimentary toast and instant coffee, which we soon wished that we booked in the first place as it was much nicer. The staff were nice which took the edge off.

Basic! No frills. This place is old & in need of a massive refurbishment. Villa units are grotty & no attention is spent on cleaning. At least the bedding & towels were clean. Some of the staff had no people skills whatsoever & suprised they work in hospitality. No internet or wi fi unless you sit in the reception area. If you are after budget that's what u'll get. Definitely wouldn't return here. I have stayed at many PD resorts & should have known you get what you pay for. If you have the $ spend it at Peppers Beach Club, Sea Temple (Pullman) or if you want a kid free resort closer to town try The Peninsula, Mandalay, Shantana are a few that come to mind. A word of warning if you stay here its noisy & security is lax. The local teenagers seem to know this is a place to party late at night and have no shame running a muck with raucous behavior & management don't even know about it or if they do dont do anything about it unless you complain. BTW atm there is no restaurant due to renovations & you have to visit QT next door to eat b/fast. Save your $ & spend it at The Little Larder in town if you want an awesome breakfast. A -2 stars for this place (can't even call it a resort as there is nothing resort about it) don't waste your time & hard earned money

We really enjoyed our stay at the resort. Our apartment was clean and suited our needs as we were out and about most days.

The main pool area is really nice and they even do a sun lounge drinks service during happy hour :)

We found the staff really nice. When we first checked in they gave us the wrong apartment and by way of apology (after moving us to a better apartment right next to the pool!) they gave us a bottle of wine.

    We'd definitely stay here again.

The accommodation is led on to be a bit bitter than the pictures online, however it is more than adequate for a family. Our room was right beside the outdoor cinema that was playing horror films which give our kids nightmares - I asked why this is not brought up before booking and they said its not the hotels problem which was infurating. Everything else is great. Pools are nice, the staff are great and the kids areas are very good. If it wasn't for the cinema we would come back but as it is there is no way we will return.
