Even though we're locals, my kids love coming back and going on the Army Duck tours. Our guide today, Michael was excellent. It's often busy with tour groups.

Discovered a snake in the toilets but non-venomous, staff helped removed it

I went with my friend from Germany and we had a great time. The Army Duck guide, Duncan, was terrific and would definitely recommend the Army Duck tour. My favorite part of the day was throwing a boomerang!

I have to say I was a little dissapointed with the park and two of three experiences. The wildlife exhibits were lifeless and made me feel pretty bad for the animals, that and my mood wasn't exactly helped by the unnecessary sexist jokes made by my guide.

The dream time walk was short and I felt like my guide didn't want to be there, i was the only one he was presenting to but he spoke as if there were many people in the group.

The saving grace was the army duck which was pretty interesting, my guide Brendan was great and delivered his spiel well. I'm not sure where I was expecting the army ducks to go but it wasn't in a circle around a dam. But compared to the other experiences the army duck was by far the best.

People not from Australia may get a kick out of the park for the simple fact of the animals but I wouldn't recommend it for Australian locals.

The Wildlife park was quite old and seemed pretty lifeless. The kangaroos didn't want to be fed, and many cages were empty. The dreamtime tour was pretty short, for the high price, and the tour guide was not motivated at all, as was the case with most of the staff. All in all a disappointing experience, especially considering the high price. Our time in Kuranda would have been better spent elsewhere.

The duck trip was fun and informative. The aboriginal dancing was funny and interesting to watch. We enjoyed throwing the boomerang, learning about the didgeroo and watching the spear throwing. My 8 year old was very impressed.

The "Rainforestation Nature Park" is a must visit!! It is great value for money when you book the package including the park, the ride on the army duck and the aboriginal experience.

The park is great and has a very relaxed feel. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Smaller than other parks, however, the park tour which is offered was very informative! You learn a lot about the animals in the park which was great fun. There is a kangaroo feeding area which was also great fun (and there is lots of other animals to explore in the park).

The army duck ride was also very great fun! You will go on a ride through the forest area and learn a lot about native plants. Then the army duck turns into a boat which is a great and fun experience. Don't miss out on this piece of history - the army ducks in the park are original army ducks from world war 2.

The aboriginal experience is perhaps a bit more on the casual side, however, very fun and very informative. After the show, you will get an introduction to throwing boomerangs, how to play the didgeridoo and spear throwing. All three activities were very informative and fun, especially since the groups are small.

We had a great day and package is really great value for money!

One of the best attractions around Cairns. You get a great tour into rainforest, both on land and water. Get to explore some of the natives culture. A well populated animal park as well.

Great place to take the kids. We buy a four Park pass every year and go at least six times a year!

Great place to see some Australian wildlife. The guide we had was exceptional, and he had a really in depth knowledge of the animals.

We loved this place and had a fantastic day at Rainforestation! Got to see a pristine rainforest during the army duck tour and a load of wildlife walking through the caged reserve - lizards, snapper turtles, koala's, kangaroos, snakes, croc's you name it. Knowledgeable and friendly staff who were more than happy to assist, joke and provide valuable information on the forest and animals. A must visit for anyone travelling to the general area.

Awesome family day out! Accommodated beautifully with our family, 6 month old and 3 year old, pram was no issues at all. Great range of animals in the wildlife park, including a rarely seen Tasmanian Devil and one very large Crocodile. Army Duck was amazing, interesting commentary and the hightlight of course was taking her for a spin on the water. Fun Day out!
