We loved our stay at the Queensgate Motel. The rooms were clean and well appointed. John and Janelle at reception were accommodating and went out of their way to help us. They are both very knowledgeable about what's on in Canberra and the region.

The motel is conveniently located and is a short walk to the centre of town. The Queanbeyan river is also a short walk away and there is a walking track that runs alongside which makes a great spot for a morning jog. We made good use of the onsite pool and sauna. There is also a BBQ onsite and this is very handy for families.

The motel is conveniently located for access into Canberra and is a short trip away from the airport. There is also ample parking on-site. We had a pleasant and relaxing stay at the Queensgate motel and would wholeheartedly recommend a stay here.

My family and I stayed during October and will definately be coming back again. Situated within walking distance to shops and only a short drive to most places in Canberra.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Have recommended to all my friends.

Travelling to Canberra for Floriade and was recommended to stay here by a friend - the rooms are very spacious - super clean well equipped with plates and cutlery so you can eat your dinner in comfort. The room had a lounge which was a nice change from having to sit on the bed to watch TV, and the bacon and poached eggs for breakfast were fantastic. The room was toasty warm particularly when it got below zero over night and we didn't have any issues with road noise and found the bed super comfy. The staff were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble and I loved the fact that their shampoo and conditioner were in big bottles so there was plenty for everyone. I would certainly recommend the Queensgate to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Canberra
