We stayed at Punthill in 2016. While the plus points for us clean rooms & location of the hotel (proximity to shopping center/funeral), some negative points to note which made our experience an unfortunate one: hotel management were extremely rude especially when they were unable to let our family use the parking (there is heaps of free parks) and even unable to show where there sign is for private parking. Heaps of better accommodation nearby.

The staff at Punthill Apartments Knox are extremely rude. I recently stayed at this horrible excuse for a hotel with my parents and as we returned from the city one day, we were harassed by a staff member out the front who said we couldn't enter the car park because we were from the apartment building next door. This was absolutely false and the rude man made us park nearly a kilometer away from the hotel. As we finally got back to the hotel, the rude man glared at us as if we had just ran over his cat or something. He's the one who acted like a horrible person. Never been so disgusted in my life.

Horrible place. And to make things better, in the morning after staying at punt Hill, I had a letter on my car threatening to tow it away when I was entitled to park there as I was there guest. Disgraceful customer service

I stayed at the Punthilll Knox for just over 2 weeks. I traveled from the US. Barry and his staff were very kind and welcoming, I felt as though I was home. The rooms are very spacious, quiet, safe and clean. The location is perfect if you want to be outside Melbourne yet close to it all. I traveled up into the mountains, down the coast to the Great Ocean Rd., Mornington Peninsula, Geelong, and many other destinations. I caught the train and trolly into Melbourne very easily too. The Apartment Hotel is located next to a great shopping center where you could get all your food and needs met in one place. I will most definitely be returning to the Punthill Knox with my family in the near future. Thank you so much Barry to you and all of the staff for making me feel at home and for taking such great care in what yo do. Looking forward to seeing you again soon!
