  We shared the prawns and scallops, loved the scallops with tge black pudding, both dishes had fantastic flavours. Then I had the pork burger, once again fantastic flavours and the chips were the best I have had for a long time, all up a great pub, good atmosphere and very tasty food.

  Really nice beer garden & food. Shame it's so far away from home. Cab would be too expensive but nice all the same. We will be back.

  This place is a must for a lot of reasons.
  The decor inside is very welcoming and comfortable.
  Service by the wait staff was impeccable. Prompt and friendly.
  
  Now the food. My waitress was nice enough to point out the specials. One of which was the mixed grill.
  This was one of the best mixed grills I've had in ages. Very generous servings and assortment of perfectly cooked meats. The chef nailed the scotch fillet.
  This dish deserves to be a permanent fixture in the menu. Well done chef!
  
  So to see if they are just as good second time round, i came the next night and ordered one their staples. Chicken parma.
  Again very generous serves and a tasty dish.
  
  Well done Home hotel. You deserve this and other 5 stars!
  
  And special mention to my waitress for both nights, Leanne. Very kind, accommodating and great food knowledge.
  
  I'll be back. Hopefully the mixed grill has made it on the menu

  The ribs are delectable, service is so great they take no notice of how difficult my orders are, they are absolutely lovely, will cook your steak exactly to the degree requested, so many incredible options, yet I cannot go past the "bastard" fries, totally love everything about the experience

  New owners are doing a wonderful job. Great atmosphere! Lloyd the chef always delivers delicious food. Barney and Eden are lots of fun in the bar, a great place to be and feel like a local!

  Absolutely horrible, i ordered the fish of the day which was barramundi cooked on the grill it was raw and when the waitress took it back to the chef they said it was meant to be like that because it was slow cooked lol I didn't think you could slow cook on a grill. To top it all off they charged me full price and argued with me I was shocked. I will never go there again and hope to save people the disappointment if you read this review.

  This is a lovely old hotel, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the food was great, I ordered the roast of the day and it was one of the best I have ever had, my husband had the burger which was also excellent. We will definitely go back again.

  Very nice food and prompt friendly service. Seniors meal was the best I've seen and the chocolate mousse was light and beautiful.
