Called the ED trying to get some assistance for my mother who was 10min or less away en-route and I don't live anywhere near her. I knew she was alone and in a bad condition so would not be able to speak to the triage nurse properly upon arrival. I'm an ED RN myself so know how it works and had hoped to leave a brief handover re: her condition just incase she collapsed outside or just inside the ED. Spoke to a very rude nurse named Angela. Absolutely unprofessional and disinterested in a patients health. Would give 0 stars if I could. Go elsewhere if you can for emergency care.

Service is very slow. There is no sense of urgency. My partner cannot bear the pain anymore but we still had to wait for hours just to get attended. So disappointing to see that an urgent matter was attended after long hours of waiting 😥

My 12 year old nephew has gone there a few time's , to which he clearly has some mental health issues and self harmed this in itself is horific an then the psychiatric team (nurse on duty), tells you that there's nothing they can do an that to just take him back home where he can run away an self harm some more possibly kill himself. DUTY OF CARE !!!! Seems to not be in the vocabulary of this hospital, loose the stigma an show some professionalism!!!life's depend on this!!

It was my wife that was admitted to Peel Hospital . I had to rush her to the Emergency at the Peel hospital and within 10 mins she was in a bed with Doctors and Nurses hurrying around her because she was so ill . The care she received whilst in the Hospital for 6 days as she has stated was the best and could not find fault with any of the staff from the cleaners etc to the Doctors and Nurses in Barker Ward . The care shown to her was excellent . A great big thank you to you all and keep up the great work . Allan and Jacquie Riley .

Disappointed to say the least ! Im 52 and on heart medication but couldn't afford to have a script filled for another 4 days have ran out,so asked reception if a doctor could give me 4 pills( tritace ) till i get paid on the following wednesday 4 days away and of course this is all on my file at the hospital so i cant be lying !!! And its tritace not some pain killer containing codeine or something you could get high on!. Any way was told NO cannot help, HOWS THAT FOR CARING STAFF ,DOCTORS , & HOSPITAL BAD LUCK FOR ME IF I DROP DEAD IN THE NEXT 4 DAYS HEY!!! *** OUTSTANDING SERVICE *** Up date the very next day i called my chemist & explained my problem they replied not a problem we are more than happy to give you the medication you need till you next get paid !!!

This hospital is the worst i have ever been to i hate bringing my kids here the staff are rude and doctors dont do very good job

Have had to take my daughter twice in the past 2 weeks for same issue. So in a nutshell,
Front end staff 50/50 first time there were rude , dismissive and argumentative. Basically felt fobbed off. We were also lied too.
Second visit staff were great and actually listened to us which saved a lot of time.
ER staff & ward nurses 100% can not fault them. Especially the first Doctor who saw my daughter was brilliant in calming her and ensuring she felt comfortable.
Sadly the specialist staff don't know their back end from their nose. Even though the numerous xrays and ultrasounds which I think were excessive and a waste of your limited resources showed the problem two weeks ago plus again today, they are off on ridiculous theories which all the tests do not support. If they had treated the problem that the tests supported we wouldn't be here again. Taking up a bed and resources that could be used elsewhere.response / report this review -

Im a paraplegic and have ended up at the Peel Health Campus on a few occassions now for various treatments due to spinal related renal problems etc and the Doctors and the staff have given me the most excellent care and nursed me back to health every single time as well as saving my life when injuring stomach and suffering a perforated bowel, a five star outfit. Thanks to all there.

My adult son went to Peel Health and was in severe pain, nothing seemed to be working, Erin noticed and seemed to really care, she requested stronger pain relief and got some heat packs. She was really pleasant and treated him as tho he was important to her. She would be the most caring nurse I have dealt with in years. Thanks to Victor who was also very nice 😀
