Food and service is very good. Sat in the naturally well lit indoor veranda and enjoyed a nice relaxing lunch. Staff was always attentive and courteous.

Food was good, not great. Service was very slow considering we ordered a wrap, a sandwich and a salad. Took 45 minutes for meals to arrive in a fairly quite Wednesday lunch service.

Poor service As soon as you walk in greeted by Saying tables with cutlery are reserved please find your own table not being shown to a table I thought was poor.. To then ordering drinks and not having everything on the menu was very annoying Food was a bit overpriced took 40 minutes for a pulled pork sandwich and a beef mango salad and there wasn't even a dozen tables in Pork was dry, portion sizes were horribly small.. Staff standing around doing nothing All in all poor service and quality. Would not recommend

Oscar's outdoor renovations have made a great difference to their space. The food is as consistently good value as ever, with a good range for dining with family or friends on any occasion.

Great 'Art Deco' building. Food and service is excellent. Walking distance to main CBD with all its glorious 1800's buildings. The hotel rooms are not entirely sound proof but then neither are modern hotels. I loved my stay.

Arranged Lisa's 50th here in the newly built Function area 'The Atrium'. Staff unreal, food amazing and venue so unique and cool. It's massively rare for a place to tick all boxes, but this does it without raising a sweat. Need a function room - I promise you will be happy here.

All our meals came out at the same time, very impressive.. Very tasty meals, everyone was delighted with their meals.

Stayed here for 2 nights over the weekend of the Ballarat Beer Festival. Absolutely fantastic venue. I rarely give 5 stars but seriously I could not fault anything. From the moment we arrived, all staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Our room was lovely and very clean. The bed would have to be the most comfortable motel bed I've ever slept in. Breakfast was lovely too. Thanks for a great experience Oscars. Will definitely stay again next time we are in town.
