Wonderful experience. The castle has a very authentic feel, not the shiny plastic of an amusement park. The performers are fabulous, so engaging and friendly. A very talented face painter was working at 'Fairies and Goblins', creating pixies and dragons and many other designs, and only charged $5! Archer at the archery range was friendly and knowledgeable, and the woodfired pizzas went down a treat. The highlights were the Joust (of course!) and 'The Prince's Rendezvous'. Oh! And don't forget to visit the blacksmith! Thanks Kryal, it was marvellous.

Did the package. Dinner, murder mystery and overnight stay. Had a great time. If you like theatre restaurant and want to participate then you won't be disappointed. Accomodation was excellent. Comfy king size bed.

This place was a great day out for our family. The kids had an absolute blast. We saw the pantomimes, the impromptu rendevous (funny as) the tournament and the jousting. The staff/actors had our kids hooked from the moment we walked in. Food prices were very reasonable. Would recommend if you have kids under 14.

The entertainment was great, lots to look at and explore. Our late check-in was a breeze with clear instructions and the heating was on in our room when we got there which was very good. The lights outside of the room mean the suite is quite light at night so we put a blanket against the bottom of the door as it has quite a gap. Staff were friendly and checkout was easy as.

Most exciting theme park we've been in in ages. Should've booked an overnight stay as there's so much to see and do. Performers are skillful and brave But sometimes their not breaking character was a bit awkward (but that's probably just me). Will return And will bring friends and probably cosplay while at it, too.

    Medieval times.. NAILED IT!
what a fantastic place to visit with s wide range of things to do including my personal favourite archery. They also have dramatised demonstrations of jousting, sword fighting and some funny little Street style performances. The staff are very knowledgeable of the period and never break character. Including an on site black Smith pounding steel into things you might find in the period. You can really get caught up in it all. Fantastic

Went with our 3 kids 2, 5 and 6. They enjoyed themselves esp the shows and pantomime. Very funny actors and thoroughly enjoyed the jousting. A lot of the stores were closed would be great if they had some sort of other activities like candle making or wand/fairy wing making to keep in line with the themes. The potion class was fun and kids loved it. The round table room could have more props or even a fake fire going to give it more atmosphere. If there were no shows it would be a little disappointing. Def bring your lunch as the cafe that was open seemed to be getting a lot of orders mixed up and was quite expensivewe were there for a coffee. The shop could've had more of a variety for kids to buy something small to take away with them. Or have a dress up area so people could take pics in medieval clothes. I can see lots of potential but I can imagine it is expensive to run the place as it did look like it needed a lot of repairs.

If you're just looking for fine dining, this is not the right place. However the food is not the worst I've seen so far and the complimentary mead is quite pleasant and worth a taste.
If you are looking for entertainment, then you can't go past the murder mystery night for the world. It's definitely an all age groups night out. We were all roughly ranging from 16s to 50s and everyone was in on attempting to solve the mystery. Well done to the actors. I would definitely hire them any day.

Ticket prices are not great value for money, unless you upgrade only cover very basic things. We were there for 3 hours and saw pretty much everything. Given that tickets cost close to the same amount as Sovereign Hill and not nearly as much to see wouldn't be going back.

Fantastic medieval themed park. You stay at the hotel or do a day event. Great for people of all ages. Not far from Ballarat. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I visited with my 10 year old daughter because I had fond memories of visiting when I was a child. She is reading Harry Potter and Percy Jackson books and absolutely loved the theme of the place and all the entertainment. Definitely a great place for families to spend quality time together.

A fantastic family-friendly venue and only 10 minutes from Ballarat. There was a great variety of shows, events and activities throughout the daily program, super knowledgeable and friendly staff, and a unique way to spend the whole day. Loved the wizard tower, archery, blacksmith, face painting, jousting, lolly shop and wood fired pizzas. The performers were hilarious, friendly and just made the whole experience! I will definitely be back for the night shows: Cursed Zombie Experience and Murder Mystery. Thank you Kryal Castle!
